2nd set was even better.
Obviously he's going to be frustrated, the crowd cost him the match.Booing Kyrios off court was bad. I mean the lad is still young it's normal to be frustrated after a match like this. Well done to both was a great, tense match.
Yeah, but has to cool himself down. Especially as an up and comer - most of the time the crowd will be against him.Obviously he's going to be frustrated, the crowd cost him the match.
They didn't need to boo there. He was winning comfortably all tournament. He's struggled here and the pathetic crowd has showed up. Feel bad for Nick because they cost him the match at that point. He won IW. Nothing of that kind there.
There's the crowd being against you, then there's them making calls from the sides. That's something even the great players would struggle to cope with, he coped rather well with the booing.Yeah, but has to cool himself down. He has the game, needs to get his head straight and have to say he's improving a lot in that sense. The most impressive youngster of them all.
Yeh, he coped well up until the last 2 points. There's the crowd being against you, then there's them making calls from the sides. That's something even the great players would struggle to cope with, he coped rather well with the booing.
He couldn't cope with the call from the crowd, who could?Yeh, he coped well up until the last 2 points.
Until some idiot called out and distracted him. It's pathetic really how it happens the entire match and the umpire doesn't do more about it. He's calm enough to have gone and won from there but well it's been the same old shit from crowd all tournament. Can't how bad it's going to get at RGYeh, he coped well up until the last 2 points.
Getting your excuses in rather early for Nadal I see.Until some idiot called out and distracted him. It's pathetic really how it happens the entire match and the umpire doesn't do more about it. Same with Federer in the first set tiebreaker, calling out on a ball near the line, which he lost.He couldn't cope with the call from the crowd, who could?

Yeah, stewards should take him out, but tens of thousands screaming at every point it's hard to single guys out. Besides - a rumble in the crowd would make it even worse. If the crowd doesn't shut up after repeated warnings, isn't there something can be done? It's a shame really how the crowd is showing themselves as so classless every single match here. This has been more badly behaved than most tournament crowds.
The last few pages are funny. Wr8 get a grip of yourself FFSBitterness runs deep in this thread. Take a rest boyz.

Just read this gemIt's a Roger Federer thing. He brings out the worst in every single crowd.
What other explanation is there for otherwise decent crowds suddenly turning into double fault cheering, booing jerks? Fed fanboyism apart?Just read this gem
Seems like the only one he brings the worst out of is you!
If Nadal loses to Federer at RG, it's probably time for him to retire anyway.Getting your excuses in rather early for Nadal I see.
He reminds me a bit of Ivanesevic - tall, skinny, big serving, hot tempered, a bit mercurial. He'll be a big success imo.
You talk as if fans of Nadal don't do the same. I have seen the same many times. Come on, when you go to a match to support a player you want to win you obviously cheer an opponent error. You think it makes crowds jerks if they cheer an unforced error from an opponent? What other explanation is there for otherwise decent crowds suddenly turning into double fault cheering, booing jerks? Fed fanboyism apart?
Exactly, his whole attitude was that of a kid throwing a tantrum. Federer, when he came on the block, was up against the crowd when he faced Agassi or Sampras but I never remember him cursing the crowd, telling them to "shut the feck up". These things will rile the crowd up further.Kyrgios has a lot to learn from Roger, especially attitude during matches. Acting like a jerk towards ball kids, cursing, smashing racquets...not sure which crowd would like that.
Federer wasn't really very dissimilar to Kyrgios in his early days. He wasn't exactly known for his composure, dedication and mental strength.Exactly, his whole attitude was that of a kid throwing a tantrum. He was nowhere near as much of a punk as Kyrigos who was swearing at the crowd.Federer wasn't really very dissimilar to Kyrgios in his early days. He wasn't exactly known for his composure, dedication and mental strength.
Just saying. He was nowhere near as much of a punk as Kyrigos who was swearing at the crowd.
He was just over exuberant. It was his big chance to enter his first 1000 masters final and he blew it. Crowd was the same for both the players but posters on here saying the crowd won Federer the game is ridiculous as best.Just saying.
Crowd was full of cnuts, as well. I think Kyrgios is a bit of a prick but his attitude yesterday, in particular, is one of the things I can understand.
