Anyone apply for Wimbledon tickets in the ballot? According to twitter, people who have been successful receiving mail in the post today.

Really hope I've got an offer. I've been successful once, so hopefully again..

Del Porto and Djokovic had another great match last night.

Djokovic had to dig deep, but could have gone either way. Nadal was looking good.

Only just into March and it's already been ten times the season 2016 was. Can't wait for Indian Wells and Miami.

Serbian media reporting Djokovic is 'finished'. Refering to the latest pictures of him looking like he hasn't eaten a proper meal in months. Finished also in the sense that he's confused on whether he actually wants to play tennis and win trophies or if he's just playing along and killing time. This attitude is reflected in the amount of time he spends in training and preparation, which apparently is a joke for his standards. That's something that Becker was also mildly complaining about, the lack of ambition and training units etc. Of course, a lot of of this is understandable, winning the French Open, becoming a father and focusing on family more. But it does seem that the key to winning more GS is only down to him and whether he actually really still wants it. Most of fans commenting also said how they have become less bothered about his game as he himself doesn't seem to be too bothered about it either. So as a fan it just leaves you a bit indifferent about it all. Strange times. I literally expect nothing from Indian Wells and I doubt many people would be very shocked if he'd crash out early.

A shame. Hope he finds his mojo again because the current field is pretty poor. Getting beaten by current Kyrgios though must be a low point.

I know. At least he could aim to win two more to equal Nadal and Sampras. But it seems a bit doubtful in his current shape..

Is he depressed? Normally they get fat as feck once they lose motivation to train and focus on other things.

Well he'll likely play either Rafa or Federer in the QFs of Indian Wells. I still fancy him to show up against the bigger players, but will be interesting to see what happens.

There's no talk about depression (yet) but about his diet which apparently is extreme even for vegan standards. I've no clue how much this affects what he can do on court, he seemed OK to play three sets against Delpo but that's not really an indication, who knows how he would do in a five-setter. Having said that, the mental part is definitely an issue in regards to how much he is able to motivate himself and it seems he's just not training enough. His first serve for example. I know it was never a bomb, but he said it himself on numerous occasions earlier it's something he'd like to work on more etc and it's just not there. It's weird.

He still has the better H2H against Rafa and Nadal, I'd like to think that he'd be motivated to keep it that way.

I didn't watch it, but from what I gathered, he didn't even play badly in his loss against Kyrgios. Sounded more a case of Kyrgios being on top of his game and when he's on fire, he can beat anyone.

Not sure I would consider Novak finished just yet. Federer went through a bad period, Nadal more recently.

One hell of a draw for Indian Wells, Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Del Potro with their 45 slams between them all in the same quarter... Kyrgios and Zverev too for good measure. Given Murray's record there you'd imagine the winner will come from that section, probably Nadal going by recent form.

Hope Roger have a good performance there to get up the rankings. If he can be 5th or 6th seed going into Wimbledon he should have a chance for 19.

The seeding system they use at Wimbledon should help him there a bit, just annoying that Tsonga's started winning tournaments again and Thiem's still playing every tournament going otherwise he'd already be top 8.

the thing is, Nadal struggled badly with injuries and Roger is pretty old for a tennis player now. none of that applies to Djokovic. he just switched off after RG, like there is nothing else left for him to accomplish. it's not his form that is shocking, it's his body language. he looks horrible.

Why isn't Murray getting the same shit Djokovics been getting?

Murray getting bombed out early in a Masters event isn't really much of a shock, in fairness. Especially at Indian Wells. He hasn't been remotely good enough this year, mind you.

It's getting ridiculous now, though. He's gifted with literally the most favourable draw to break his voodoo there and bombed out again. This year with Djokovic in a slump should have been the moment he sweep everything and stake his claim as an all time great.

So Djokovic got the better of Del Potro for the second time in a row.

Nadal - Federer tonight and also Kyrgios - Djokovic. The winners will play each other in the next round.

I was their prev match highlights, Fed was struggling (he won 76 76 with no breaks either way) and Nadal was better (against a probably better opponent too).

Yeah, and Nadal would be pretty motivated with the clay season coming up, whereas Fed might be taking it easy to recuperate from the AO and prepare himself for Wimbledon.

Probably will be an one sided affair. 6-4 6-3, Sth like that.

Checked the start time and it's around on at around midnight UK time. Will have to do with highlights in the morning.

Indian Wells has the slowest hard on tour, quite different to Australia's courts. Nadal will probably win.

I don't think Nadal will win. Won't be too arsed as he longs on clay if he comes up against Fed.

Federer's never beaten Nadal three times in a row, with the form they're in and the way the courts are playing that's not likely to change tonight.

Nah Johnson on his day if he serves well can be tricky opponent.

Verdasco on his day was a solid top 15 player. But his best days are gone.

I'd fancy a Nadal-Djokovic match, haven't seen that in a while. Do they have something like the biggest rivalry in history of tennis? Btw Djokovic needs to beat Kyrgios, he cannot lose a second time, it would be a bit embarrassing.

It's still early but he's been completely second best so far. I'm not sure if the short turn around from the Del Potro match is the cause but he's looked so lethargic thus far, he deserves credit for only being one break down given Kyrgios has had chances on all 4 of his service games.

Kyrgios takes the first set. Will be all I wilk watch for tonight. Djokovic not looking great, but the way Kyrgios was serving was very impressive. He blasts those second serves two. If this guy bad his head together, he'd be something special.

I had it in my head that he was wasting his talent, he's still only 21 and already world number 13. He clearly does need to improve his attitude and he's fizzled out in a couple of recent 5 setters at slams but he's more than capable of becoming a future slam winner and potential world number one given none of the players behind Djokovic and Murray have really taken up the challenge game consistently. His serving has been superb for the second match in a row against Djokovic.

Oh, I agree 100%. Was just thinking about all the dumb shit he's done so far, his somewhat lazy and not giving a shit attitude and he's still done well compared to many players. Like you say, he's still young enough that time is on his side. Just hope he can be more consistent with his approch to the game.

To be fair the both times Djokovic has had to face Kyrgios. He has had to play Del Potro the night before in long matches whilst Kyrgios gets to play in the day both times.

Not sure why they couldn't move the match in the night.
