Would be amazing if Goffin could get a medal for us, small chance but still.. Murray the absolute favourite to reclaim gold right now though!
 
Would love it to see Delpo winning the whole thing. Such a fantastic player, if it wasn't for all his injuries he would have won several slams and would give Djokovic and Murray a good fight all season. He barely played a game this season, would be a great story and comeback.

Was incredible in London last time. Lost the semis 19-17 in 3rd set to Federer but won the Bronze by beating Djokovic.
 
No idea how the first two sets were, but this set has been brilliant so far.
 
A few unforced errors from Nadal and he's broken. Delpo serving for the match.
 
Nadal holds serve after being 0-40 down. Delpo now serving to stay in the match.
 
Classic match this. Both players with their recent injury records, makes it intensely emotional for the both of them.. good atmosphere too, very Davis Cupesque.
 
Even though I'm a Nadal fan. Seeing Delpo win this match was great to see.
 
Didn't mind who won as I want both players to do well after injuries.

But Rafa will be happy with gold in doubles. Felt that perhaps was a factor for him going out.
 
US Open should be interesting. Nadal has returned from injury well on the hard courts (favourable pace, mind). Delpo has been brilliant and could face any of the big guns in the first round. Murray consistent as usual. Since RG, Djoko hasn't looked the same.

Still got someone like Raonic who will be a threat.

Really look forward to it, epecially after watching that match.

Fantastic match, hope he can beat Andy tomorrow too. No one deserves it more than him, silver at least is already incredible and that he won against Nole and Rafa though. Should be a good match.

And Puig is destroying Kerber in the 3rd :eek:
Could be 2 unseeded gold medal winners.
 
Nadal wins the set 1-1 after being 5-2 down in the 2nd set
 
Think Andy will end up grinding Del Potro down. Forgot it was 5 sets.

Last Sunday Murray has won Gold at the Olympics -> 6 days and 4 matches later Murray is in the ATP 1000 final of Cincinnati

Australian Open final + French Open final + Record winner at the Queen's Club since this year + Winner of Wimbledon + Gold at the Olympics + 22 wins in a row + 34 wins out of the last 35 matches and that is now the 7th final in a row.....he's already a strong favourite for the "BBC Sports Personality of the Year" award.

But if he wins two out of the US Open, ATP World Tour Finals or another Davis Cup then he wins surely another "BBC Sports Personality of the Year" award.

Has to be favourite for the US open now.

But Djokovic could end up taking three slams this year and I don't even think he's been great. Would be good for tennis if Murray wins the US open as it would make the last few months of season interesting with the race for number one.
 
Yep, Murray's tennis has been great lately so it'd be great if he could cap it off with his first two-slam year.
