Tennis 2015

Funny that the defending champion is seen as a complete outsider even now, last year Fed had the crazy qf with Monfils while Nole beat Murray and then both amazingly lost in the semis so you never know

Stan has a very bad record vs Anderson while Federer loves the servebots, so if Anderson beats Stan I can see Fed easily making the finals

Anderson has a pretty decent game from the back of the court. He's more than a servebot IMO. I think he'll beat Stan and push Fed.

I think his game has come a long way but I am still not that confident that he can beat the best returners in the game consistently

Easy wins for Stan and Fed. Would love to Fed win another slam, but seeing Stan take apart Novak again would be brilliant.

Well my Anderson prediction was off. Poor Murray. Plays against an unstoppable serve from Fed in the Wimbledon SF (who then goes on to lose). Plays against Anderson who probably plays the best match of his career (and goes on to lose). Fed looks so good. I just won't believe he can win it until he does it though. Against these top players he struggles. Thinking Stan might get his #3 slam now.

Hard to see him beating both Wawrinka and Djokovic. And I can see wawrinka winning the whoale thing too. His hitting is such, that if he's having a storming day there's almost nothing you can do about it.

Wawrinka hasn't looked great so far but he does have a habit of turning it on for the latter stages of slams, even though he's never beaten Federer off clay he'll fancy his chances. With the exception of the Kohlschreiber match Federer's looked pretty good but he missed a few opportunites against Isner and Gasquet was really poor last night, so it's hard to get a proper read on his form. I'd be amazed if Djokovic doesn't go on to win the whole thing, but I was probably saying the same this time last year so what do I know...

So Serena won't have to beat a top 10 player to win the US Open, and only one in the top 20. Read a stat that if she does this, may complete this career grand slam by beating only 3 top 10 players at grand slams.

Williams cannot move. If they're able to keep the ball out of her hitting zone she struggles. So much reliance on power.

Is Serena mental? Why is she celebrating an ace like a mad person?

Seems almost like she should be warned for excessive celebration.
Seriously, I've never seen anything like it. Three points in row I think. And all on her own serve. She wasn't even 3 break points down ffs. Mental stuff

The serving of some of the women players is appalling. Serena's just swatting the second serves.

Oh Serena why are you doing this, really thought the GS will be a walk now, especially after the first set.

Wow shocking. Vinci - Pennetta what a surprising final. 32 and 33 years old and one will win their first GS title.

Last point, so cool. Steffi still remains last woman to do calendar slam
