Blame me. The Stain PMd me with the terrible options he was mulling over (6 options, 5 still unpicked, 2 of them not really RW to begin with) and I started goading him there was a better one... until he homed in on McManaman.

By the way, Peter Schmeichel is ineligible, you can pick again if someone is ineligible. If you unknowingly pick someone who has played with another player then you are fecked and have to keep them.

Well I usually figure out who is going to be available in the next pick and create a shortlist in accordance to the picks that could be available to me

The last time I changed my plans was after Mauro Silva got picked. I had a squad in mind then and so far so good with two picks to go. I only changed order in the last round realising my subs were in more danger than my starters.

I've no idea how that is even possible with some of them, such very very obvious picks which work brilliantly with the mechanics of this.

By the way, Peter Schmeichel is ineligible, you can pick again if someone is ineligible. If you unknowingly pick someone who has played with another player then you are fecked and have to keep them.

No that's the default feeling you are supposed to get everytime you pick a player in a draft.

Dunno about who other starters are but I ain't trading Hierro for this guy.

I usually try to stay away from this Juve team of the past 4-5 years and the Inter team before that. Ever since the scandal the league has been a joke and it's incredibly tough to judge some of the players.

Reminder about how injuries and tactical changes work.

The probability is that each team will have 1/2 an injury per game. The maximum number is 2 per team. You name a three man bench and can make a max of two subs. The players who are injured are injured for the following game but will recover for the later one. eg. Injured in R1 misses QF but is fit for the SF.

When the match starts whoever sets the match up (probably me) will randomise the numbers 2-41 and send the results of who is injured (both managers know who is injured so they can predict the other manager's changes) or not to the managers who should then PM me back with any changes they want to make and I'll update the thread at 8hrs. At 8hrs another randomisation will take place following the same format. If managers like they can make two subs at either 8 or 16hrs. The only constraint is that it subs or tactics changes take place in those time periods and doesn't involves more than two subs.

NB. You need to give your players squad numbers for it to work and keepers cannot be injured.

Yeah agree with that. Cannavaro blocked him for me in 2010 despite Bonucci only being along for the ride.
