It is clearly teasing that they are retaining the John Williams theme. It's the same melody.
They're just going down the Lloyds Bank route of slowing down a classic for an advert.

From that teaser, it at least looks as if they've used enough lighting this time that you'll be able to actually see what's happening on the screen.

The colours pop but his work still overly emphasizes on the shadows. I find it quite jarring and heavy on the eyes.
He's not as bad as Laustsen though. That guy has singlehandedly botched up Del Toro's recent works for me.

Can’t disagree with this, and with the teaser poster, tease for the teaser etc, it looks like they’re going to be throwing everything that they have on this.
I just hope they make the character relevant again! A hero who holds true to his values in a time where liars and cheats are prospering seems ready-made for a Superman movie in modern times.

It certainly looks Gunnesque. I kinda like it.
I like how bright and colorful it is that's a good start for Metropolis and Superman in general. Got a couple of the many cameos in there, we shall see what happens with it.

Not as good as the Superman Returns teaser, but hopefully the film itself is a lot better.
Never been a massive Superman fan but this looks good. Gunn has a lot riding on this I think it will be excellent.
With the shite that DC have put out over the years and the lack of an overarching story like they had in Marvel, it's got to be a massive hit for the sake of their Extended Universe and what follows on from this.
Yup I think that’s pretty much his remit isn’t it to get DC Studios in a better place I think they have plans to pretty much reboot the lot and start from scratch

Looks promising. Been waiting since 1978 for a worthy follow up. At the very least I’m hopeful.
