Bailly would be a great signing, I have about 7-8 posts in the newbs jizzing myself silly over him. Can't believe no one has been linked to him earlier (Barca was linked a few days ago).

It'd be annoying to have him feck off for the Cup Of Nations though, right in busy season for us.
I have watched him about 5-6 times for Villareal, including the first leg against Liverpool in the Europa league where he was the best player on the pitch IMO.
His major strengths are pace and physicality, he is literally a beast. One of he fastest CB's around with a physique to match.
I am also impressed by his ball playing skills which are way above average for a "stereotypical" big unit of a CB type of player which he is.
His weakness is like most young defensive prospects decision making and anticipation. I really dont know who to compare him to, but in "type" he would be nearer a Vida than a Rio.

IMO a much bigger prospect than Kurt Zouma.
100% agree. Been watching Villareal all season and he is my absolute highlight on the defensive side of things. Pace, power, pretty smart on the ball. Lots of potential too!
