#Inter advances for Gabigol: 25M €+ bonus offer made, wait response of the parties then must deal with the boy, still not done @SkySport

This could be quite a nice signing for Napoli in a year's time. Milik is no doubt talented, but is still very, very raw.

Everyone in Holland thinks Napoli overpaid a bunch. We didn't think that much of him, even at Ajax. Also, critically -- he wasn't done learning at Ajax yet, like Zlatan was.

Was hoping to see him go to a better team! He so deserves it!
Well, he didn't exactly lighten up White Hart Lane, and it's not as if Spurs are world beaters, so maybe he's just better off at a smaller team.

He didn't play many games in his best position at Spurs. He was used a lot on the left wing and he is not a winger..

Well tbf, when he did go to a better team (Spurs) he flopped pretty badly. Great player but might be one of those who can't perform the same when surrounded by others of similar or superior ability. He's the undoubted star at Swansea.

I would not say flop but I can't imagine if f.e. Lampard or Kaka would be as good as they were if they would have been played as left wingers most of the time. Gylfi was just unlucky that Vaart was at spurs at the time the first choice 10 and Gylfi had to play a lot of games out of position.

€140k a week. He could earn double that elsewhere. You'd think a player of his quality, in this current market, could easily demand at least €200k a week from a club as such as PSG.

Yep. He will be gone within 2 years I think. He'll start kicking up a fuss for a move. Madrid most likely destination considering Modric's age.

They might reporting it after tax, so would be more like ~€280k p/w before. €140k sounds way too low

They never usually do that though, do they? Have I been reading it wrong the whole time?

I thought they often do with wages in the rest of Europe, but looking at what he currently earns it might well actually only be €140k a week before tax which seems crazy for one of PSG's main guys...
