Ah well. Opinions.

I think he may well be at the wrong level but could be a quality player in a consistent No.10 role for a midranking team. So many mercurial attacking players at top clubs get dicked about and can't reach the top level. He is one of these.

Agree with this. Oscar is a quality player just lacks consistency and isn't the right fit for a top club. Reckon he'd be brilliant in Italy hope he goes to AC Milan, always been fond of that club and think they would be perfect for him.

Fair enough. I disagree but respect your opinion

 It's not been 1 shit season. He had a good first season, average 2nd and the rest were just shit.
Disagree

Very promising 1st season, excellent 2nd season. His third was good but didn't really kick on. Only last season was he very disappointing

Out of his depth at Chelsea maybe but still has a lot to offer. IMO.

In fairness I never read your post properly - he's definitely good enough for someone like Southampton, just not a Champions league club side player.

Age doesn't worry me at all if he's another Distin who was a beast. Great signing if we get him. Surprised he'd move though!

Why? He would stand to get a much better salary, it is not a huge move geographically, and Swansea might get relegated if they don't sort their attack out. Surely he would be well up for it?

Great move by Everton, stupid move by Swansea. He must really want the move/Everton can offer him much higher wages. Otherwise it makes absolutely no sense for them to sell him. He's their captain and arguably the best and most important player. I think Swansea are going to be relegated or at least thereabouts.

For 10m I'd have him at United, gotta be honest. Never injured, he's built like a mountain. I'd prefer him to stay and finish his career at Swansea, way too important for them to lose and would harm their chances of staying up which I obviously want them too even if they have become somewhat of a bogey team for us.

One of the most underrated CB's in the league can't believe Swansea are letting him go for 10 million. How will they replace the years of PL experience.

Williams has been one of the main reason Swansea never got relegated once they made it to PL. Mind boggling decision not to match whatever wages Everton are throwing at him.

Also Everton are replacing Stones with arguably a better and more experienced premier league CB. Great bit of business

Mind still boggles how Wenger didn't look at Williams for the past 5 seasons and didn't think yeah this player will be an absolute rock in my defence and will provide great leadership in games. someone that loves to give it back

Gomis gone, Ayew maybe next and no clear transfers in, whats going on there?

yeah very strange, Somethings not been right at the board level for a while some strange managerial changes and always the club has looked to cash in whenever someone has wanted their player.

Looking like relegation contenders for next season

Bayern are good enough to have two full strength teams in the Bundes Liga that would probably finish first and second in the league.

They have signed some crazy amount of established and young talented players in the last 3 seasons.

Strange. A year or couple back I remember the rumor with Arsenal offered more money for A.Williams, but Swansea declined. Now PL teams're supposed to get more money from the TV deal, and Swansea offload some of their (important) players for cheap. Are they bankrupting?

Just need a commanding keeper to go with Williams and I can get out of the habit of shitting myself every time the ball gets threw in the box.

We signed Martial , Shaw and Mensah

Rashford emerged , Tuanzbe and Williams are knocking on the door

We already got Pogba too

Bar Dortmund no other club signed more wonderkids than us

Out of the names you have mentioned 2 of them haven't even made a single senior appearance (Tuanzbe and Williams) while the other has hardly had 10 first team appearances (Mensah). Its silly to deem them as wonderkids when they haven't even made the senior squad yet.

Wonder kids are young talents with abundant talent right ? Based on there showings in the youth level there are seriously wonder kids for me .

Atleast Shaw and Martial will be classified as wonderkids right .The one wonder kid I would love united to sign was Emre Mor . We are spending majority of our money in Pogba this summer , so lets wait for next summer for Dembele/Mor/Neves/Torres etc .

Good signing - but he is 32 years old so that probably explains the price. I checked his stats - over the last 8 seasons he has missed a total of 12 League matches - and those stats were slightly ruined by the fact that he missed 5 last season :) Now that is consistency

Noooo, was my absolute favourite CB (back-up) signing!!
Class defender, experienced, very injury resistant and an absolute leader.

The price is a bargain and he'll improve Everton considerably!

Can't believe Swansea are selling Williams, disrupting what is probably the strongest element of their team for a pittance
