Barcelona works on Mascherano renewal, new two-year-deal and a potential option for a third year included.

What's wrong with these Barca players sigining for Juventus then... Not signing for Juventus.

Gundogan and Pogba.....Hope that doesn't happen :/
Gundogan, Laporte, Pogba and Sane would be a class window for them. Hoping Barca or Real come in and swipe Pogba because he isn't coming back here.

If they got those chaps, to add to their existing squad with the likes of Aguero, Silva, KDB.....the title would pretty much be theirs.

Like the title was theirs this season just gone?

The consensus was Chelsea, as I recall. Most could see that City needed a bit more class in certain positions. Look how last season went though: no strong contenders among the big clubs. A few class signings and a world class manager to City's squad and they'll be a much more dangerous proposition.

Nope. Otamendi was supposed to be their saviour in defence while the lineup of..
Sterling..... Aguero........ KDB
................Silva
Fernandinho........Toure
Was lauded as this unstoppable force. The main team in Manchester etc etc...

To be fair if Aguero, Silva, KDB and Kompany could have stayed fit then they may well have been. I didn't see anyone rating Fernandinho that highly though and Toure's legs have been gone for ages, anyone who couldn't see that is not worth listening to.

Are MUFC no longer interested in buying Dutch players?
Is the Dutch interest over?

Why is Tancredi Palmeri unbanned for tweets?
He's a real journalist and has called some transfers. The fact that he gets a lo t wrong like any other journo should not mean he is banned. He works for one of the biggest media companies in Italy. He also does work for Bein Sport.

Well, name one Dutch player that would improve us? I doubt van Gaal would go for one this summer

I'd take Robben for a season, but only if Bayern don't want to sell him. If they let us have him then I don't want him anymore because it means they've broken him. It's a bit of a catch 22 to be honest.

Thanks.

His tweets seem to be far too granular though (in comparison to other journalists).

I struggle to think what he's gotten right.

As someone who hasn't watched a minute of Italian football this year, can someone talk me through Pjanic? What sort of midfielder is he? All I know is that he apparently takes a mean free kick and he looks a little like your mans mate in Dawsons Creek.

Technically; there's very few midfielders better. His passing, vision, first touch are excellent. He's also good at protecting the ball and retaining possession. However, this has just been put to the test in the Italian and French league.

Would be very useful in those games where we found it difficult to break down resilient defences.

It's his mentality and suitability to such a physical high paced league as the PL that concerns me.

Very technical midfielder. One of those CM/ No 10 hybrids. Like Modric in his Spurs days, Iniesta or Thiago Alcantara. Not the strongest player but very good at using his body to shield the ball. Signing him imo indicates Mourinho intends to use a 433 system. He really can't play in any other system. He's not a No 10 in that he doesn't play high up the pitch and he's not CM.
He's not as good as Modric and certainly not Iniesta but i don't think there's much between him and Thiago. He had a very good second half to the season especially when Spaletti took over.
He's more like the player we wanted Herrera to be but he's far more consistent in his passing and delivering his technical qualities.
