Oh thank God - the minute I saw the photo I feared we were being linked to David Luiz!
French league is very physical and similar in pace to England. I think he's the kind of player that can elevate his game when he gets to the big stage. Imo, he was the best player on the pitch when Roma faced Madrid at the OlympicoTechnically; there's very few midfielders better. His passing, vision, first touch are excellent. He's also good at protecting the ball and retaining possession. However, this has just been put to the test in the Italian and French league.
Would be very useful in those games where we found it difficult to break down resilient defences.
It's his mentality and suitability to such a physical high paced league as the PL that concerns me.
In regards to the Herrera comparison, yes he would be bought for the same reason in terms of linking defence and attack, however I think that's really where the similarities end.Very technical midfielder. One of those CM/ No 10 hybrids. Like Modric in his Spurs days, Iniesta or Thiago Alcantara. Not the strongest player but very good at using his body to shield the ball. Signing him imo indicates Mourinho intends to use a 433 system. He really can't play in any other system. He's not a No 10 in that he doesn't play high up the pitch and he's not CM.
He's not as good as Modric and certainly not Iniesta but i don't think there's much between him and Thiago. He had a very good second half to the season especially when Spaletti took over.
He's more like the player we wanted Herrera to be but he's far more consistent in his passing and delivering his technical qualities.
To combat that, he was abysmal in the World Cup - a stage where I expected him to really shine and showcase himself as one of the best midfielders in the world.French league is very physical and similar in pace to England. I think so. He isn't on the blacklist.Tancredi is unbanned now?
To be fair to him, by how much can one shine in a midfield for Bosnia? To combat that, he was abysmal in the World Cup - a stage where I expected him to really shine and showcase himself as one of the best midfielders in the world.
Thanks.
His tweets seem to be far too granular though (in comparison to other journalists).
I struggle to think what he's gotten right.
Are MUFC no longer interested in buying Dutch players?
Is the Dutch interest over?
No.Is Gds reliable?
Thanks, I'll take it with a pinch of salt
Why is Tancredi Palmeri unbanned for tweets?
I assume it's more in comparison to United's shortlist of players built up from scouts etc (from Van Gaal's time). Mourinho is saying, "trust me, never mind the details, just get this guy if we can."Why do they put in 'personally'? Does he usually make suggestions through a 3rd party?
Presumably they mean 'in person', and not via phone or email.
Why are you asking ?

Miguel Delaney is fecking awful.Have ESPN been ever right? For such a huge outlet I've never seen their sources predict anything noteworthy
I just remember him being on the banned list after constantly giving BS tweets. This was way back before I joined though so I'm not sure if anything changed with him - did he break any big news or something?
Not sure i can live through another summer with that niggling hope that Pogba returns.
All logic should suggest it could never happen, he has no reason at all to move to a team not in the CL as a minimum.......yet i just cant let go of that last shred of hope.

Wasn't there some talk about Chelsea wanting Pjanic last summer when Jose was their manager? Lets hope he is a big fan
Why?Potentially deal of the window
Because they have nothing to lose. The worst that could happen- he flops, even then they can recoup 8million euros. Its a nothing amount in today's market. Why?
He wasn't good enough for a squad role in Barcelona and they just lost Hummels.
