Can't see us signing Rodriguez and Pogba. Our spending would exceed £200m and I don't think we'll make a lot from sales.

Deary me. We must be desperate. This guy has luterally no connections to United. All he does is host a radio show on a small station in the states and when the club came on tour he did a couple of interviews with the likes of Lou Macari etc and got no real insider information.

He is a fan and he loves reading the Caf and he loves rumours. I wouldnt trust his information any more than I would any randomer on this board.
The full time journalists that cover United day to day are hit and miss.

I wouldn't trust this guy much. Even though he is saying exactly what we want to hear.

Pointless, they don't have a chance of getting him.
They remind me a bit of us under Moyes that season, scrambling around looking for a massive player and ending with egg on our face.

Rooney would have to leave if we signed Rodriquez. I dont see how you could bring in a player in that position and for that money and have Rooney sitting there on £200k a week.

James to United, Real use the money so that Pogba gets the move he wants. Everyone's happy.
Nope... I wouldn't be happy. As much as I rate James, Pogba is the kind of player we need. If we get Pogba and James, I wouldn't complaine. But if I had to choose... it is Pogba every time.

Here's hoping they sign Fellaini on deadline day

Haha i see what you did there!

No disrespect to @Raoul but how can you ban all red tops...also reporters like Jamie Jackson from the Guardian are known to bs!

So what next....we ban all of them?

Ban them all, I say, except Gianluca Di Marzio! But seriously though, part of the fun of this thread and this forum is that it leads to light ententainment about the speculation no matter from which source it comes from.

It will be interesting to see how he does given he was hyped just behind Neymar when they were at Santos.
That was before he had to have an operation on both knees at such a young age. :( Technically, he was 2nd to none. He made really difficult things looks so easy while playing at his own pace.

I hope we get Pogba but if we can't get him, I'll be very happy with James.

One thing that we'd have with James is he won't ever go back to Madrid again, whilst with Pogba that is a different matter. That said Pogba is the better player and more suited to the PL

Di Marzio just posted another update talking about Pogba and Higuain, I cannot post it though being a newbie!
From what I read of it, seems as though Juve expect him back in August and said Higuain is a "great" player..

Not sure if the above is reliable but there has been whispers of a part ex involvimg Mata so can't be completely ruled out!

Either they have read The Sun or the latter might get something right for once. Done in weekend, figure around 105 m pounds, medical early next week... All seem to match.

Brilliant on two parts if true:
1) We are getting Pogba.
2) The club are trying to move on those players who are big names, but will no longer key pillars in the side.

Seems to be quotes from allegri, who of course knows feck all

Nothing coming up when googling La Stampa Fabio Fica. Does that journo exist

Just to pass him on to PSG next summer at a 30% discount...

I'm not sure that's a good thing tbh - the best non-ginger player we've had in recent times was basically playing for an eventual move to Real whilst he was with us, and it drove him on to give extra which benefited us.
