  • Pogba will be done in next one and half week barring something out of the ordinary. (just like reports today about raiola setting a deadline of 1 august for future to be sorted
  • United will try to sign matuidi no matter who is sold
  • Bastian to leave to go back to germany, januzaj, wilson, pererra to go on loan,Young mata, valencia, fellaini fighting for futures
  • Sergio romero to leave, rooney to start season on bench and may be sold if he causes problems in media as he has many friends(Basically casillias him, i think most united fans will be happy with that)
  • Jones considered important and Mourinho thinks he can get him fit, it is his last chance this season.
  • Depay. darmian also get last chances. Mata may stay if no suitable buyer for atleast 25 million not found. He will be squad player

Very pleased if true!

Some tweets flying around that Juve has denied they have sold Pogba to us. It would seem things are hotting up. This does indeed feel like the final push.

I wont post the tweets as they come from unlisted accounts that people would frown upon.

I don't know what is worst. Idiots or idiots.

Don't ask a question if you don't know the answer. Simple.

That's why Woodward co operate with Mino Raiola. Before any offer goes public I'm quite sure United knows if Juventus is going to accept or not. Why make any offer if you know the other part don't accept?

We have made an offer Müller.

I think we should sell Romero and promote Johnstone. Romero will never displace de gea and he's too good to stay on the bench. we should get a decent fee for Romero and promote one of out own to be de gea understudy. what do you think?
Personally i don't care if our backup keeper is an "established" name or not(where Romero is established, Johnstone is not, if that was unclear), as long as he is considered good enough by the coaches.

I'm sure however Mourinho wants a backup he is 100% certain can perform when called upon. Do you think he will trust Johnstone with that? I doubt he will, so i'd expect him to buy a GK if Romero is sold. Only reason would be uf Romero wants to leave i'd think.

Johnstone has been highly rated by previous coaches. I hope he's rated by Jose. If Romero can be sold that would earn us a few quid and free up some wages. I'm all for that. I hope Romero wants to leave personally

The earliest we'd sell Romero and go for Johnstone as #2 gk imo is January, as i doubt Mourinho would take the chance before at least having a long hard look at Johnstone himself.
I wouldn't mind, as i'm sure Johnstone is good enough if the coaches trust him with it. Basically you'd have to trust Johnstone to be #1, at least until next transferwindow in case serious injury to ddg.(i know, emergency loans are available in certainsituations, but i doubt we'd put ourselves in such a situation voluntarily)

that's all fair.. but remember this all started from the ITK saying Romero was off

James isn't coming if we sign Pogba. Different positions, but Pogba is the statement signing, don't need a second in an area we could just use Mata in.

Probably not. I think the link is BS as well, but assuming we get Pogba locked up, get £25-30 million for Mata as well as offloading a good amount of deadwood, don't you think we could actually be interested in him, if he's available for say £40-45 million. I think we might.

I think you're getting private and public matters mixed up.

You wouldn't usually approach a club unless you'd already been given assurances that terms could be agreed with the player, granted, but not many clubs are falling over themselves to promote the availability of their elite players.

But isn't it time to think of Johnstone's career progression first? If he is as good as touted then I think it's better to sell him at a low price and insert a five year buyback clause so that if he becomes good enough and we inevitably lose De Gea down the line we can easily get him back. Let Romero rot on the bench instead he seems comfortable with it judging by his career.
