Barring any late issues, Pogba will be a United player when he gets back from his holiday.
This is the one we need. Will cost around the same as Mkhitaryan. 30-35m. Time to get this one done.

- United will try to sign matuidi no matter who is sold
- Bastian to leave to go back to germany, januzaj, wilson, pererra to go on loan,Young mata,valencia,fellaini fighting for futures
- Sergio romero to leave, rooney to start season on bench and may be sold if he causes problems in media as he has many friends(Basically casillias him, i think most united fans will be happy with that)
- Jones considered important and Mourinho thinks he can get him fit, it is his last chance this season.
- Depay. darmian also get last chances. Mata may stay if no suitable buyer for atleast 25 million not found.He will be squad player

Why don't we just move Mikhitaryan to the middle? I understand Rooney exists but we shouldn't not sign Mahrez just because he has to fit in the team. Mahrez is a fantastic player, his stats from last season are insane. If we want to compete we should be signing guys like him
More importantly sell RooneyOr we play Mkhi in the middle and Mahrez out right.

This was my most hopeful muppet summer signing, we should be all over this but I doubt we will be as Rooney will surely play. I think both Mahrez and Mhkitaryan can play the 10 role and wide just as effectively. Would hate to see him at Arsenal etc. Hopefully its bollocks and he stays at Leicester or goes abroad.
Just watch Snatch and you'll decipher whether or not we're buying Pogba.
Why? Awesome player, but doesn't Mkhitaryan play in an almost identical position?
Can't see him coming to us, otherwise we'd be buying a player simply for the sake of it, or to prevent a rival from getting him.
I think Mourinho has earmarked Mkhitaryan for the right, Martial left and Ibra at CF. If we play 4-3-3 then Rooney could even struggle to get into the team.
Mahrez is quality but am also wary of too much squad turnover at once.
Aside from the fact, we'd have a three M attacking midfield of Martial, Mkhi and Mahrez, he's a fantastic left footed specialist, the likes of which we don't have in the squad. Mata might have to leave for this one to happen, but I think Mahrez could be the ideal solution to our right wing issues. Mkhi is our number 10.
To add to this:
- Fee for Pogba is for his potential, he's not the finished article. Also he is not 'desperate' to join United but has agreed to.
- Schweinsteiger will leave because he is no longer physically capable of playing in a Mourinho midfield.
- Mata might leave but is not an 'easy player to sell'. If he stays he won't be a starter.
- Januzaj has a 'horrible' attitude. Was very rude to some fans apparently.
- Rooney could lose captaincy. If he does he expects Rooney to get 'nasty' with his leaks. Rooney is a big negative for the dressing room if he is not happy. High potential of clash with Mourinho who expects total loyalty from players.
- Tuanzebe will be in the first team squad and get some game time.
- Another 2-3 players might come in after Pogba but they won't be big signings and it's dependent on who we sell.
But Mourinho has pretty much played 4231 throughout his career, definitely in his last few jobs. He only goes to 433 in the big games otherwise he always plays 4231
There's no suggestion at all that Mikhitaryan is 'earmarked' for RW, the only reason people say that is because we need a RW and he played there for Dortmund. He can definitely play no 10 just as well and there's no reason at all we can't possibly play him as a no 10 and sign Mahrez. If Mou wants to win things then a front line of Martial, Mikhi, Mahrez and Ibra is wayyyy better than a front line of Martial, Rooney, Mikhi and Ibra
Also, he expects maybe a couple more signings after Pogba, but not first teams players or big signings. (I would guess the likes or stature of Reece Oxford/Hirving Lozano/Adam Ounas etc)

But where does Pogba fit in? He is wasted in a midfield two.

We seem to have completely discarded Memphis after one poor season, and I don't think there's any way Mourinho ditches Rooney.
Very good, even if they were to get him which i don't hope by the way, it would be nice to see them taken to the cleaners.
If Pilip de Brun is right then Mourinho is sorting our squad out good and proper, needed to be done for a long time. Sad news about Schweinsteiger but always thought he'd retire back in Germany, Januzaj and his attitude problems arising again so think it could be the end of him sadly. Good to see Depay and Darmian getting another chance to prove themselves, be interesting to see how Tuanzebe does. Exciting times ahead

He's not wasted in a 2 man midfield he's wasted when he has to defend and play deep. If you play a pure dm next to him and let him push forward he can be effective. With France he had to sit deep cos he was playing next to Matuidi who likes to bomb forward and it nullified him completely
We could be making the same mistake by signing Matuidi and Pogba.

Hopefully they'll appoint Moyes and he'll sign Fellaini on deadline day.
