This thing about Real being his first choice (if that's the case) bothers me. I really want us to sign Pogba. It's just that the idea of someone coming to OT as a second choice feels wrong. If his dream is to play in Real, he should wait til the time is right and move there. Otherwise coming here would just be a side step. I want all the players who come here to dream about winning trophies HERE and being able to play here as long as possible.
Like i said, i obviously rate Pogba and i hope we get him. But if we do, i really really wish that he returns for the right reasons.

It always impresses me that these newspapers knows what a player thinks. They even know what Pogba who is probably highly focused on the Euros, is gonna tell Juve when he returns. Impressive
He was good at one point but his knees are completely fecked now I believe.
Lovren has been pretty good under Klopp for the most part. Sakho's the weaker of the two but we've brought Matip in to replace him I think. We've also got Gomez who can play CB but I'm surprised we're not in for Subotic. Seemed like a signing worth making, especially if Sakho gets banned.
I've heard a few people say he's not as good as he was a few years ago so maybe that's why. Impressive signing for Middlesbrough though.

Kinda like Jonathan Woodgate, who actually earned a transfer to Real Madrid, or Ledley King. Good players, but their bodies betrayed them. I bit of a come down from starting CB for Dortmund to Boro. Come to think of it, Woodgate went from RM to Boro.

In Ibe's case - maybe, but plenty of bang average home-grown players on big wages command ridiculous fees. It was obvious that Vangle was desperate to offload Nani and that's why we took the first offer we received for him, in my opinion.
I think it's safe to say it was a shite deal for us on so many levels.
I kind of understand the logic for United, but doesn't the player want similar wages? It's unlikely they take a pay cut, right? Does Utd cutting the fee allow the other club to pay similar wages to lure the player?

I don't get the reasoning behind dismissing an article because it doesn't have a quote attached to it. You don't quote in order to protect your source. I see no reason to dismiss something out of hand because you haven't put down x said this.
