Damien has been somewhere between average and poor for us all season while Az has prior proven himself one of the best fullbacks in the league. Obviously as a United fan you wouldn't mind swapping a dud for a stud, but Chelsea would have to be wearing their pants on their head to go ahead with such a switch.
That's fairly harsh on @Damien

A severe lack of pace....
Very little speed or defensive graft in that. Extremely un-Mourinho.
That's quite similar to his front four at Chelsea, in terms of speed.

Martial is faster than Hazard, Oscar and James are quite similar, Willian is probably faster than Mkhitaryan (who is actually quite fast himself) and Costa is quicker than Zlatan.

I don't believe that we want Morata. James is overrated imo and would cost above 60mil I bet. Could be spent on someone better.

Yes, funny how you see a lot of peoples ideal line ups for next season and generally they all just seem to include whoever we are linked with that current week. Half the signings we generally seem to make are not publicised in the press beforehand, Eric Bailly being a prime example and nearly every player we have been linked with since has had no comments from the clubs (apart from Juve saying no bids for Pogba at all), just lots of comments from greedy agents which Im sick of, something should change in terms of agent dealings in my opinion.

Im sure there is a lot going on behind the scenes at the moment with players but I hope Morata isnt one, good player but definatel not a great one. Rodriguez too is over rated in my opinion from his world cup performances. He is a talent for sure, but in m yopinion not what we need and neither for that matter is Mkhitaryan who I hardly saw anybody mention as an ideal target, yet he is the second messiah now we are linked via the press and greedy agent.

So United have 1 faster player than Chelsea out the 4 positions? Not really quite the same! I'm not saying it's not good just I'd prefer some genuine pace in around Zlatan if he signs.

Well in terms of James/Oscar and Mkhitaryan/Willian we're not exactly comparing Bolt with Daley Blind. It's margins as all of these players are very mobile and competent at carrying the ball.

Was thinking Ibra needed a runner of him or someone to go in behind (Mane) and the only guy capable in your front 4 would be Martial.

We could sign Ounas on the cheap and play him on the right, move Micki to the middle, then we would have some pace behind Zlatan.

Mkhitaryan and Martial are both very quick and James is no slouch.

You'd need two Kanté's in midfield to take on the workload and a tremendous pair of FB's to supply width and pace.

Mkhitarayan has excellent workrate and Martial does his fair share of tracking back.

We sell this players for such low fees because of the poor demand for them and to allow them to match their wages here. If we don't,the players simply won't move and we end up with a Borgarde situation

I don't understand why some people are so irate over the fees we get .
It just shows poor management on our part. United is not the only top club that sails players with big wages that they don't need. Yet we are evidently worse in that.

Exactly Chelsea sells such players with similar big wages at very good prices while we keep gifting clubs our players for almost nothing. I don't understand how anyone can defend such ineptitude we've shown in dealing with transfers. For example, i'd wager that if Nani leaves Turkey, Fenerbahce might end up selling him at an higher price than they bought him from us;They will make a profit on him. We do the same thing when buying players too; We end up overpaying more often than not and it's ridiculous. Even Madrid/Barcelona make better deals than us and they're a big club too.

I hope all these changes with Jose at the helm. He might have learnt one or two things regards this through his time at Chelsea.

Predicted lineup from recent interest:

----RooRoo - Morgan ----
- Mkhi - James - Martial -
--------Zlatan --------

I dont think we can get James for less than 50m and that would be a waste of money. We have more pressing concerns to fill than the #10 position.

Oscar is rapid. I remember his sprint against juventus couple of years back where he raced a guy and scored

Thats also true.

We should never have given Nani that massive contract for example. But once we have those players on the wagebook, there is little we can do thereafter .
