Wait until tomorrow Woody when the £ is riding high again.
Or get all the bids sealed today before the markets crash if brexit happens. The markets will go crazy, and I can't see the £ avoiding a bumpy ride after.Wait until tomorrow Woody when the £ is riding high again.

Our first offer was €24m apparently but only to open negotiations
I disagree, there are lots of stuff we could have done. We could have loaned him, given that his contract was until 2018, we could have inserted a buy-back option or a profit sharing agreement, so that any profit Fener will made if they sell/loan him before 2018 would have been divided 50/50. And so on, so on.We should never have given Nani that massive contract for example. But once we have those players on the wagebook, there is little we can do thereafter .
Martial and Hazard cancel each other out offensively, but the rest of the Chelsea lot are far more willing runners in both directions. Oscar and Costa will also make runs down the channels to work space for other or to overlap - they are a lot more mobile than Zlatan and James. Willian's pace is similar to Mhkitaryan's in some ways, but one is a freer spirit who needs licence to roam, whilst the other will do the job asked of him all game if needs be.That's quite similar to his front four at Chelsea, in terms of speed.
Martial is faster than Hazard, Oscar and James are quite similar, Willian is probably faster than Mkhitaryan (who is actually quite fast himself) and Costa is quicker than Zlatan.
See above. Mkhitarayan isn't a player I'd expect or demand a shift from. He has workrate, but it's not the kind of two-way graft you want from a wide man, especially one with James and Zlatan in the middle of the pitch. He'd have to be a lot more incisive and direct than he likes to be to constantly overlap these two and be an outlet ball on the run all game long. I'd expect a lot of static football with all 3 of those players in the side.Mkhitarayan has excellent workrate and Martial does his fair share of tracking back.
What the feck is going on, he's ultrachav, fecking mediocre striker at the very best and half of the league wants to suck him. Somebody should look into this shit, smells like bloody money laundering or some other dodgy stuff.
£30m is definitely worth it, though that amount in pounds might change depending on what happens today
We didn't want him back ,so a buyback option was never on the table .I disagree, there are lots of stuff we could have done. That's not an option to bring him back (if we don't want), that's a negotiation tool. Just look at Morata, there is no guarantee he will be at Real next season, but if Real does sell him for good money, those money goes to them, Juve gets a healthy profit for their troubles (buy back option is more than they've paid of course), but not a giant one. Clubs can also acquire this buy-backs for money, so in a way it's profit sharing agreement as well.We didn't want him back ,so a buyback option was never on the table .
That is just another example of our stupidity in terms of transfer admin, wanting to get Rojo a very average player at all costs. Obviously with Fener who actually needed Nani and could have paid him it would have been different.Loaning our the previous season had led to the silly situation where we were paying all his wages.

Well given that his contract was until 2018, he wanted to play and Fener was one of few if not the only club that were willing to match his salary, i'd say he did have better cards.Well getting Fener to agree and Nani/his agent to agree to such clauses probably would have meant selling him for less, not like we can just stick whatever we want into contracts.

I am a bit too, but the fee just seems way too excessive for a player who still hasn't proved himself at leading the line for a big club.I'm warming up to the idea of Morata. Especially if this Zlatan stuff is true.
Maybe I would have believed them if they said only Man City but the fact that they mentioned Bayern makes them lose the small credibility they had.
Didn't Kroos only leave because Pep wasn't using him? So I'm pretty sure the link to City makes it more unreliable thank the link to Bayern, either way I could see Kroos going back 'home' and he'd probably be in an equally strong team to win the Champions League.
Think if we were in for him the money we would offer would be higher than Bayern, just a case of what he'd choose, money or a more likely chance of winning silverware in the short term, doubt he'd ever end up playing under Pep.
