Honestly if i was in Woodwards position I'd tell Raiola to feck off and not deal with him at all. That's coming from someone who is a big fan of Pogba too.

To use an analogy, it's like those people that enter a relationship with somebody that is either already in a relationship or has ended one to be with you. You know they have form for this type of shit, so why even bother? Mkhitaryan might be too old to ever demand another move if he came here, but Pogba isn't. It's just not worth the hassle

Woodward was an investment banker previously.

A very succesful one too. He knows that it's cutthroat in business.

This is business . Nothing more.

How can people judge Embolo on 3 games at the euros

All this talk of not being able to judge a player because of xy and z is getting a bit tiresome. Everyone does it.

None of us are properly qualified to judge players when it comes to it, we're just fans on a football forum. Why can't we just say what we think after a few games at the Euros? It doesn't really matter if we're wrong about a player.

I'm often wrong about stuff but I'd rather be wrong and listen to other peoples opinions as to why than not get involved in the discussion.

Mkhitaryan should refuse to return for pre-season unless they sell his. This is a disgrace, they're pretty much keeping him a prisoner.

Disgrace? Held prisoner? He signed a contract and it is their choice whether they let him out of it or not. Ramifications either way for them so they just need to decide what they wan to do.

Agreed. Martial was crap. Sell him to Burnley.

WHOOOOOOSHH.....

Would love someone to do a behind the scenes or breakdown of transfer negotiations/"talks".
I picture it as two chief executives just haggling for days.

Sounds like a load of shit. From October 2014 to September 2015 City paid £12.4m in agent fees. In that period we signed Bony, Sterling, Delph, Roberts, Otamendi and de Bruyne. Yet we're supposed to believe Aubameyang's agent is asking for what, nearly £8m alone? And City will not pay around £175k a week on a player we'd have to be spending a likely club record fee on? Laughably bad journalism.

It goes both ways really.

In what sense? Many people would of seen him play much more than 3 times. For people to write him off after only seeing him play in 3 games is ridiculous. Many players have not turned up at this championship.

He's the only journo that tweeted this information now he's tweeting a massive update that it's not happening. It's a joke.
I think he's supposed to be blacklisted on here as well?

I am with you on that, its a shit excuse journalist are making. There is no way Dortmund are gonna sell Auba with him having contract till 2020.

Its roughly £30m.

Whilst appreciating this is still too high given he's in final year of contract, we did pay this much for Depay
Depay we paid 24m pounds and youre talking as if we sold him for a loss of 20m. I still have the confidence it will be worth it what we spent.

People can judge players, but after 3 games it's a little bit ridiculous. Alot of players have not turned up at this chamipionship. Some of them World class players. Hardly makes them a bad player... and suddenly because it looks like Embolo is joining Schalke, he's a bad player.

I think a lot of those saying that about Embolo have been saying it for a few days since the start of the Euros before he looked like going to Schalke and United were still linked.

Just pay the 30 million to secure the player, it's not like we're struggling for money is it.

If we don't pay it, someone else will.
