Or the number being reported was usual media shite because we were never asked to pay anything because we never made an offer.

Exactly. His agent was putting his name out there and it's done its job.

Indeed. I suspect we made an enquiry but nothing more and he was just an option for RW. But now with Miki Targaryan close we decided to not go any further with it

Oh my, I can't help but wasted 2 of my 5 posts everyday for 2 days on his thread. The muppet in me...why oh why?

I'm glad to hear about the Embolo news. Granted I have only ever seen him play at Euro 16 but he doesn't appear to be an improvement on Rashford or Lingard assuming he occupies their positions. Were we ever really in for him in the first place? I guess we will never know.

We've been linked with numerous RW options so I guess it's possible we did enquire about him.

I hate the Euros... First of all the football is extremely boring, AND it slows down our muppet season!
Soon teams are starting to drop fully that will speed up things :)

Daaamnit! We better get Micky Targaryan sealed up quick then, since I doubt they will let Micky \ Hummels \ Gundogan and Auba leave in the same window.
The tweeter is not reliable at all. He reports various stories out of his arse.Dont know why he is not blacklisted.

Embolo to Schalke is a little worrying if it means Sane goes to Man City. If Nolito joins them too, that would be an incredible attack with squad depth.

Wonder what this means for Aguero. Will City play him and Aubameyang upfront together? It'd be a waste playing Aubameyang out wide.

Would also be a major blow for Ihavenachos.

I thought Embolo looked pretty good. Surprised to see how fickle opinion of him can be in the Caf. Without a doubt if he was signing for City there would be quite a few tears shed. Or if he signed for Bayern eyes would roll. Whether or not United were or are in for him is another thing. But the boy has bags of ability and will be a star in a few years time, just watch.

Embolo going to schalke is the move that suits all parties. A good step for him. I reckon he'll develop well there. If we're after Ounas and mkhitaryan supposedly then I don't see Embolo as being a necessity.

He hasn't signed for them though he has signed for Schalke, which is likely his level at the moment, he will get game time and if he is any good will make progress. Not sure he would have got the games here. We might be keeping an eye on him.

Hope this has a domino effect on transfers.

Embolo>Schalke
Sane>Dortmund (Bayern reportedly want him)
Miki> United.

City keeps Navas and Sterling.

Don't think Schalke would sell Sane to Borussia Dortmund.

So because someone has a differing opnion to yours then it's fickle?

I thought he was pretty bad and struggled with the basic fundamentals. I would have thought that had he been signing for Rotherham or Real Madrid.
