Television Succession

Ffs, never know why they cut out such important scenes. Explains Rom's awkward hugging throughout the episode, clearly hiding a hard-on

When he started telling Geri that he was sad it almost felt like he was trying to turn it into a weird sex thing again.

There’s probably a will and Kerry “caught the foul ball at yankee stadium” has a significant slice of the pie.

It was incrediblely well done and hit very close to home. I remember the phone call I got when my father died. The confusion and the constant what’s actually happening? And the need to take care of things and arrange shit while you’re still in grief. The suddenness with which death arrives and how surreal it feels.

Tears in my eyes while watching it. So damn powerful.

Hats off to the creators, one of the all time best pieces of television I’ve seen. Masterpiece.
Can't remember the line, but I was teary eyed, yet laughed out loud one time.

I am of the opinion that a great episode will make me laugh out loud, cry out loud, & keep me intellectually engaged. Succession certainly did that for me this past episode.

Yeah, it's been foreshadowed enough.
My money was on Tom winning game of thrones from early on but it was based on Logan choosing him because he’s cut throat and scheming enough for it and Logan appreciates that. Obviously that can’t happen now but I still could imagine him getting it somehow.

I think we are going to see the kids realising that all four of them are definitely not viewed as serious people and suddenly missing the clout their father gave them.

Yes, I agree with pretty much all of that.

Going to be very interesting (hopefully tonight) to see who the board chooses to take over, if only for now.

Tom getting it all would be the most WWE thing in all the series.

I weirdly haven't been thinking about Succession at all the last few days, because it feels like it's over after that monster episode. I had to remind myself that there's half a season left.

Him or Roman look likely, but if Kerry has a shout it would ruin the whole show for me.
Feel like the whole Kerry scene was just to show how ridiculous she was. With Logan behind her (lol) she had all the sass and confidence and clout and carried herself as such. She was like a jittery little girl with no idea what to do. In contrast Karolina went full game face and pulled everything together.

The board wont allow Kerry to be in charge.
Think it’s more a question of people wondering if Logan has done something ridiculous like leave her some of his voting shares.

I want the worst for the kids. What would be that scenario?

Kerry being pregnant would be bad news or not really?
With septuplets and the voting shares being diluted between his offspring and Kerry in charge of their share for the next 25 years.

Shiv is so embarassing. No one takes her seriously and instead of backing off she just acts like a child. I feel she's going to feck up something later in the season.

Funny how after last episode people were talking about the childish kids and the adults around the table who are actually making it work, and this episode we see just how united the adults actually are. They're no different than the Roys, only looking out for number one.

It really feels as if they’re redoing episodes 2/3 from season 1 now. Even down to the firing just before dying / getting sick so does it count stunt.

They're just gonna blow it up in record time aren't they... just though, seriously  at the underlining/crossed out thing. Pure genius and I'm totally on the crossing out boat, since what would be the purpose of underlining it? Or maybe he's just a genius level wind up and did it on purpose to feck with them after his death.

What a 1-2 punch of episodes though. Outstanding...

"It sure as feck doesn't say Shiv"

that was an amazing line.

Another great episode, loved Carl absolutely handing Tom his ass when he tried to throw his hat in the ring
