Steven Gerrard

Not very nice, sending out mixed messages to cameramen like this. Needs to decide if he wants to kiss them or if he wants them to stay away, can't have both.

I'm expecting a 20 minute rendition of Giggsy 12, Gerrard nil tomorrow.

Giggs has 13. You're eerily accurate on the Gerrard total though.

A bit rude of Giggs to spoil the song really, as 13 doesn't fit so good.

Thankfully we can rely on Gerrard to not spoil his part of the chant :)

I like Gerrard, but the group huddle speech is going to be as infamous, if not more, as Keegan's I'd love it speech.

Loved how Gerrard pushed away the camera after the match. The same Gerrard who runs to kiss the camera when scores. Hopefully City don't mess this up in the next two matches.

Yeh, I thought he had a thing for cameras. Not now I guess.

Lucky Suarez had his teammates to direct him off the pitch. Otherwise he would still be walking around bumping into the advertising boards looking for the tunnel.

Unbelievable, I went out last night and only checked the scoreline once on my phone to see Liverpool leading by 3 goals. You can imagine my delight at finding out the final score :lol:

What a story! You couldn't have made it up. This terrible excuse of a leader/captain gives a Chelsea striker the ball to deny us our 19th title. So what? We have still won 2 more since then. Four years after that incredible small time act, he gives a Chelsea striker the ball to deny Liverpool their 19th title.
To make it worse for himself, he got so carried away after the City game. Ppl here were criticizing him for that, it was so pre-mature and showed how he doesn't have the experience of winning a PL title and that nothing was won yet! Now he has to deal with all this the eternal loser! I don't even feel an ounce of sympathy for him!

I think Gerrard's infamous huddle just put more pressure on them. Managers and players always trot out the usual "one game at a time" mantra at this stage of the season (whether they actually believe it or not). Gerrard's focus was purely on the title, and his comment of "don't slip up now", as well as coming back to haunt him, also served to put players on edge. It was less a "let's win" and more of a "let's not lose". No real surprise that the belief drained out of them as soon as they conceded a goal.

Also Rodgers' tactical naivety was breathtaking. Tryin to make up that goal difference was always going to be pretty unrealistic. Scoring 3 goals was a good start, but to be chasing a 4th goal with 20 minutes left - and doing so leaving your own defence exposed is idiotic.

I don't hate Gerrard but he really is such an attention seeker. The kissing of the camera at OT was just a tad strange. And the huddle right after the game infront of the cameras when the title was still up for grabs was downright bizarre. Who fecking does that? Why can't those things wait till the dressing room?

Those who genuinely believe that they're heroes (John Terry being the best example). Attention seeking cnuts.

I do think he believes his own hype. He knows people will fawn over these kind of stunts, see taking all those pot shots against Chelsea the other week. One goes in and he's romantically redeemed himself and the media print Roy of the Rovers style shite about that being 'Olympiakos part 2' or something.

They win the league and that huddle is replayed with misty eyed tugging from scousers the world over. Now, it's replayed all right, but only because it's fecking funny.

Yeah, that's the feeling I get from him. It's a lot like Terry and his "big man" nonsense. It's all very pretentious.

The nickname "Stevie Me" is perfect really.

After his theatrics two weeks ago, which his selfishness against Chelsea proves was done to have his image as the "grand leader" replayed over and over again throughout the years, I have just one thing to say to Mr Stevie Gerrard:

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

I didn't see that huddle on the pitch but I still don't understand why do that? Was it for the cameras? If it was then it surely has come back to bite him in the arse. And I love it :D

Gerrard has been very good at set pieces this season. He hasn't been anywhere near the top players in the league though. English journalists embarassed themselves once again by voting for an overrated English star. Pathetic clowns.

There was a video. You could actually hear him whimpering

Laddie don't be so sure, that Suarez is a real slimy prick, and we've seen his "top class" acting all too well to fall for this!

But in this instance I hope he was crying, because it's fecking funny that racist biting stamping rat faced cnut is suffering.
