Film Star Wars

/raises hand.

I can do the lightsaber/blaster sound effects using just my mouth!

Preferable to using other body parts I suppose.

I'm glad you broke the sequence of quote posts. This was reaching "uber asgard beam" levels of nerdiness.

You didn't.

Unfortunately the male character needs to be 19-23, and "handsome, smart and athletic". That rules me out!

You just watch yourself. We’re wanted men. I have the death sentence on 12 systems.

I don’t like sand; it’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.

Tactically, I think the best thing to do is to turn up at the Bristol auction because you know that most of the people auditioning will have Bristol accents.

I am hoping to go to the meet and greet auditions! Probably the London ones because I'm coming off and going on to a night shift for the Bristol ones. I'm in wales but fancied a trip to London anyway. I have zero acting experience but what on earth do they expect?

Just have a strong Welsh accent which sounds terrible on home videos.

People with some acting experience? Make sure you go in full costume.

If these films will be anything like Abrams' Strak Trek ones then they'll probably be even worse than the three most recent ones.
I think you can definitely expect a soulless action movie with loads of special effects and random characters that have names out of the Star Wars universe.

feck off, the new Star Trek films are imo very good. Liked them both and that's coming from a TNG/DSP9/Voyager Treky.

I liked the 1st new Star Trek, haven't seen the 2nd yet but I hear it ain't so good.

There is a big chance these will be bad movies. I will be happy as long as they are entertaining. I am not expecting classics

 It is actually a better movie than the first one. J.J is a good director, but a terrible writer/producer (Lost, Alias etc). As long as he don't handle the writting (and he isn't a writer in Star Wars), I'll expect a good/very good movie.

That's a bit much. I can't think of a lot worse than the last 3 Star Wars movies. They really were feckin terrible. Not one redeeming thing about them.

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII TO OPEN DECEMBER 18, 2015
November 07, 2013
With pre-production in full-swing, a confirmed release date of December 18, 2015, has been set for Lucasfilm's highly anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII.

"We're very excited to share the official 2015 release date for Star Wars: Episode VII, where it will not only anchor the popular holiday filmgoing season but also ensure our extraordinary filmmaking team has the time needed to deliver a sensational picture," said Alan Horn, chairman of The Walt Disney Studios.

Star Wars: Episode VII will be directed by J.J. Abrams (Super 8, Mission: Impossible III, Star Trek) and is being scripted by Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi). Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, with Tommy Harper (Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, Jack Ryan, Star Trek Into Darkness) and Jason McGatlin (Tintin, War of the Worlds) serving as executive producers. John Williams is returning to score Star Wars: Episode VII.

Shooting is scheduled to begin spring 2014 at Pinewood Studios.

So, not in May. Shame that the tradition is broken, but at-least there are a few months to prepare it better.

John Williams returning for the score are fantastic news. He is 81 and apparently he was in retirement, but still he is great. Star Wars has one of the best music scores in the history of movies so him returning is

Even though most hate the prequels, one thing most agree on is at the music was outstanding in them.

So yes it is essential he returns again
