Yes, he worked for the NYT before they gutted their sports department and merged with The AthleticIs this even a good source?

Like I said we are being offered peanuts as transfer fees. You want us to blindly giveaway players for peanuts just for the sake of it? If Maguire wants to play for another club he has to accept a wage reduction. We can't be paying him to play for another club. It's the punishment for paying silly money for an average player that we have to take.
We paid 55m for a player in the last year of his contract. Why should we give away McTominay for 30m?
Even though McTominay barely plays
If we remove our bias and the social media memes of McFred and Maguire(They are not as poor as their internet image )in today’s market just from a comparitive analysis, McTominay easily has a value of close to 40m
In the long run, we need to have guiding principles if we’re rebuilding and not accept lowball offers from clubs. But in the short term we could have done with the signing to improve our squad.
Everything has a trade off and feel United overestimated the demand for both MCT and Maguire which is causing this mess.
Doesn't sound that clued up if price was 35m eur all summer but they accept 19m eur from Forrest.Yes, he worked for the NYT before they gutted their sports department and merged with The Athletic
Tick tock 30 hrs to go..

I’d go with Mc’Rabat (As in macrobat like acrobat, geddit??!)McSofyan doesn't quite have the same ring to it, but I can live with that.
So we should move forward with players who aren't good enough. At some point you need to cut your losses if they are blocking others coming in. West Hams offer for Maguire was fair, it's very common for selling clubs to give the departing paying a settlement to go, not unique to united.
Mctominay, is a bang average player, Mount has proven over a number of seasons he isn't. That's why there prices are different. I don't get your point with that one.
He would not. Its united or burst. If he goes to Fulham how embarrassing
They can blow us out of the water financiallyIf he goes to Fulham how embarrassing
So much competition for him. Must be great.
How ridiculous that statement sounds. Never thought to see this day. Bloody hellThey can blow us out of the water financially

Maybe this is what we need to compete again. If he comes, it'll be because he wants to be here, rather than just because we offered the highest salary. How ridiculous that statement sounds. Never thought to see this day. Bloody hell
Not sure about that. If we get to the dying embers of the window and we've still not come close to wrapping this up, he would well within his rights to go elsewhere, get paid a lot more and experience a new league. I'm referring to the PL in saying the above; going to a club like Fulham is a lot more rewarding than staying where he is, unless of course he has a blinding season and has bigger names after him in 2024.He would not. Its united or burst.
Nah we'll probably still offer the highest salary, I meant from Fiorentina's point of viewMaybe this is what we need to compete again. If he comes, it'll be because he wants to be here, rather than just because we offered the highest salary.
We are not playing with two dm’s.Amrabat is the player we really need. A DM/CM to play alongside Casemiro. So far we have been run over in the midfield area.
Sounds goryHe would not. Its united or burst.
Not nothing, we’d still have McTominay. And Maguire. And Donny. So basically we don’t have funds and we let cucurella deal go so that we can sign Amrabat with some extra pennies. Couldn’t also afford Gravenberch due to the same reason. Now to see Gravenberch going to Liverpool. The only thing remaining now is Fulham sign Amrabat too which also means they wouldn’t sign Mctominay from us and we would be left with nothing.

Yes we will especially when Mount is out injured. We are not playing with two dm’s.
The three players I thought would be out of the door when the season ended yet they are still here. Not nothing, we’d still have McTominay. And Maguire. And Donny.
We signed 3 first 11 players by August for 170m . It hasn’t been a shambolic mess of a window at all.Fairly confident/hopeful we'll get this done, even though its been a shambolic mess of a window.
Yes, last thing we need is more martial wannabes with attitude issues. With Gravenberch there are questions about his attitude. With Amrabat there are no such concerns, he’s a monster.
