Said it before, he usually finds performance against the tougher sides.

Didn't do enough this season but tbf should have been used more in CM

Very limited on the ball but he was superb defensively. Probably should’ve been picked over Casemiro earlier in the season

Probably his best performance of the season, I was waiting for a bad pass, but it never happened.
Thank you Sofyan.

Very good match, save giving away a couple of silly free kicks. Looked much quicker than he has at times this season.

Very good today. Actually except the Brighton game the last few games have been good. I'd be tempted to keep him as a cheap squad option.

The first one wasn’t a freekick at all. He was immense all game. Everywhere - even realised the danger and tried to help double up on Doku.

Exactly the kind of squad player we need. Hope we keep him

He looked like an oil tanker for the first ten minutes then he started throwing himself into every challenge and tracking like a bastard. His best game for us IMO, and he was vital to helping AWB combat the likes of Doku. Thank you Sofyan, you saved your best until last.

Wondering how our season goes if he plays more in cm next to mainoo.

Yeah, should keep him, played a lot of the season in and out of the team and carrying injury and struggling for fitness. Not going to get many better players for that price. Would be different if he was £60 million.

Gives everything he has. We actually supported him and gave him less stress by having legs all around him.

It's still scary to watch him when pressured but we offset it well.

Finally we see world Cup Amrabat. Finished his time here really strongly.

My MOTM. Was everywhere today
He wasn't really anywhere. It was the fact that City was mostly bunched up in the middle, thats why he seemed so involved. It is incredible reading some of the comments. We have watched a game where City had 74% possession and we were defending deeply from the first minute onwards. Even Eriksen would have looked solid given that we played so compact. Exactly the same setup he looked like a "DM" for Morocco. But what happens when we aren't so deep. Do we really have to learn the same lessons a hundred times?

Happy for him to be part of such a nice moment at United but thats about it.

I’ve said it before. Every foreign player will and should struggle to adapt to the pace of the PL especially coming from Serie A.

Now that he looks like he is finally adapting, we want to let him go. Doesn’t make sense. He’s an astute signing for the quoted 15m figure.

Consider it like this: We bought Mount for 50 fecking million. Amrabat at almost 1/4th is a no brainer.

A few of us were calling for this for so long. At least we eventually played them together and it resulted in a very strong end to the season. Narrowly losing to Arsenal and beating all of Newcastle, Brighton and City.

Excellent today, raises the question why he's been sat on the bench for 5 months though. Playing him more could have released Mainoo further forward.

His last few weeks have sold me on him. At the agreed price, we won’t do better for a depth piece, which is desperately needed.

If Casemiro goes, it would be criminal not to cover our ass by taking up the option. He seems like the type that would stay regardless as a United fan, even with no guarantee of a starting place.

€15-20m in todays market is a steal for a serviceable player.

It made the most sense. It was a version of casemiro/eriksen from last season as the deep two which worked a lot
Annoying eth wanted to vacate the midfield and just let teams attack us at will rather than have that base.

Thank you Sofyan.

He made bad passes that were still completed.

Great performance though, really put himself about.

Not a surprise that he can do reasonably well when we are sit back and look to hit on the counter. That's what he excelled at, at the WC for Morocco. Still not good enough under pressure and not a good passer of that ball. Good attitude, though.

No exercising the buy option would be the right move.

Great game from him. I think the best thing he did for us was show us the exact type of midfielder we need to put alongside Mainoo.

He is good defensively and he's not that slow, just has a strange running style that makes him look like a looney toons faux-athletic character.

I'd like to keep him because he's a decent enough player to have in the squad and he puts in a shift.

Yes, he should have played a lot more this season. He screens the defence well but his passing is average. He kind of looks like Maguire running with the ball because he is so one-footed.

Good time to have your best game. Could be a decent squad player in a functioning team.

Brilliant. Cringed when I saw his name in the line up, especially after last week. Loved that he proved me wrong.

that was the player I saw in the World Cup - shame it took the last game for him to show it. Was everywhere and kept running until the last minute.

And the draw at Anfield. Was our best partnership in CM, shame we didnt use it enough

Nah he lacks acceleration but once he gets going he got average/decent top speed, also because he's so top heavy he looks awkward while running .

Eth must have given instructions to play simple and came to his benefit in this game, the midfield has more balance with him and mainoo since he has an engine in him to track runners (compared to eriksen)

Was expecting the traditional brain fart to arrive any moment and it never did. Rock solid game from him - we finally saw a bit of World Cup Amrabat.

It's probably a little bit like Weghorst's League Cup moment in that this might be about the peak for him and we shouldn't make his signing permanent, but it's great for everybody concerned that he got the chance to show his stuff on a big stage and was a key part in driving us to a trophy.

His best game for United and he saved it for the FA Cup final. Well done to him. Not sure if we need to make his transfer permanent, but if we do hopefully the transfer fee isn't too high.

His application and attitude are always great. He gives everything, every game. Even if it's not often good enough. I will miss him though

Great game, can't say I didn't get a little nervous when he keep turning back with a load of City players chasing him down.
