So who should we take seriously bro? You maybe? After that horrific performance today? Oh sorry I forgot he played great in the World Cup.
I said he was Sunday league level because he's so bad it's the best way I can describe him. Zero skills as a footballer and probably the worst player I've seen in a utd shirt and I've been watching them since early sixties. So you can f--k off with your delusional!
Weird for Ten Hag to start playing him so near the end of the season.
Almost like it was a clause in the loan deal we signed up to, I just hope he's done enough so we can send him back.
We got about 6m for Fred in the end.Selling fred for 12 and bringing him in for 8 for a year was... Interesting.
Wouldnt be surprised if he played himself out of starting the final
The point of letting themboth go is finding actual midfielders at this level. People act like there aren't options out there ffsHe has the same issues Casemiro and Eriksen have in terms of not being physically up to the league (probably very slightly less due to him being a bit younger) but we definitely look more balanced on the ball with that type of player in there even if it's a struggle without it.
I still think we either need to keep one of him or Casemiro or sign two midfielders. No point letting them both go and just getting one.
Fixed.McTominay has been poor in any actual midfield position.

Do we reckon he starts the final? I know he had a poor game but I still think all of Ten Hag's subs were pre-planned with the City game in mind.
I think he got a fair and objective assessment when first arriving in that he came in late and hadn't had a preseason with us and no prep for the league, which was faster than the one he was leaving. He's also been given a lot of leeway for being used sparingly, but if at the end of a 38-game league campaign he still cannot cope with the pace of the league, it's clear that the player just isn't suited to playing in said league, or would need serious exceptions made for him to do so, either by others being his legs, or simply accepting that he is lagging and will make calamitous errors because of that.
The fact it is a loan is good for him. At the end, he gets to go back to Italy and look like the player he's made a name for himself being. The PL can do nothing for him but tarnish that.
Is his reputation based solely on international football? Surely he looks a considerable bit better in Italy than here?He hasnt made much of a name for himself in Italy either. He was dissappointing and worse than the world cup where he was quite average but his team did well and punched above their weight

I had in general, I just hope we find a suitable replacement. We definitely a consistent perform as a DM.There is no argument on earth that could convince me it would be a good idea to keep 350k per week Casemiro or the midfield William Prunier, beyond the end of the season. If we are serious about even finishing in the top six next season, then both have to go and two midfielders need to be signed. One a technical 6/8, and one a pure 6 with more physical qualities. Players who are fairly young, so we can actually build for the future for once. Players like Neves and Onana, although I’m not convinced by Onana (but that profile of player).
Casemiro is on massive wages and his legs are gone. If we can get a decent fee from SA we should be biting their hand off, and if we can’t we should be cutting our losses and getting his wages off the books. And Amrabat should be given a one way ticket back to Florence. He’s never good enough, in a million years, to play for United. He couldn’t even get in West Ham’s midfield. He has no place being at United.
Makes you wonder why or how he was on our radar; he's evidently really, really average. A trier, but they are ten a penny and many are considerably better than this guy.Mostly an unconvincing/poor starter for around 8th-10th placed Fiorentina
Before that he was decent for Verona who finished 9th when Fiorentina finished 10th. So that would be why they wanted him.
33 league games for Verona where he was decent, then 28 starts and 3 subs but bad for Fiorentina the next season he starts 8 with 15 subs. Back in favour enough for 24 games and 5 subs the next season. Fiorentina also made the final of the europa conference league and he had a decent game in that.
And that brings him to this season.
Not just only on international football but on one tournament where most people who rated him probably saw 1-2 matches of Morocco. Not exactly the team a lot of people pick to watch every match, but they did do well considering what was expected
Yes you get the impression he thinks he's better than he is. Of course that becomes a big problem! When he moves with the ball he has the belief he is Modric but then reality kicks in and they steal the ball from him. Time and time again. You would think he learned from it but he doesn’t. I am sure he went to sleep in his Modric pyjamas tonight.
The bits where he kicks it ahead of himself then realises halfway through that that he hasn't the pace or acceleration to catch up to his own attempted progressions, would be comedy gold if they weren't so tragic. He has that penchant of overrunning his own action and then having to make a tackle attempt... on his own progression... because it's broken loose. It's anxiety inducing and I bet his teammates have half an eye and doubt on him most of the time. When he moves with the ball he has the belief he is Modric but then reality kicks in and they steal the ball from him. It’s as though we don’t do any scouting at all. And of course, we all know we really didn’t. Everything at this club for so long has been built on a manager’s feeling about a player, or familiarity with a player. Nothing has been done, in a very long time (10 years plus), with any sense of critical analysis, data gathering, due diligence, or expert insight. It’s just been, as Edward Woodward once put it, fecking “Disneyland” for morons, for far too long.
Anyone who watched Amrabat regularly will tell you that he was never good enough for United, or any top team. I only saw him play a handful of times, and I was pretty skeptical; but a couple of Italian friends of mine who watched him pretty regularly, said he was rubbish. A plucky warrior of a player who tries hard but just isn’t very good. And boy were they right. Unfortunately we have highly paid recruitment specialists at the club who didn’t get that memo, and just green lit an outlay of 10m on this joker, for one season. Undoubtedly pressured through by our manager, a man who spent 85m on the Brazilian Bebe.
It seems like all the initial hype and excitement about Amrabat, on here and in the media, was built on one ten second gif of him chasing down Mbappe and tackling him at the World Cup. A gif that I am now convinced is a deep fake, because ever since he looks like he is running through treacle.
He’s been, two games aside, absolutely fecking appalling every single time he’s played for us. And not in terms of attitude or application, because I genuinely think that he tries his little heart out for every minute of every game he’s on the pitch, but in terms of the actual football bit of his job. He’s just not very good at it. He gives the ball away constantly because he can’t get the direction or weight of his passes right. He seems constantly caught out of position because the game is moving too quickly for him. And at least half the time he looks like he has no idea how he got there in the first place.
He’s the William Prunier of midfield signings. Just a lot more expensive, and because ETH barely has the leadership nouse that Fergie had in one testicle, he’s here for the whole season, rather than a handful of games. Truly one of our worst ever signings. Luckily we sold Brazilian international Fred for a whopping 8m so we could get this genius in midfield.
Did someone say he was press resistant???
Safe to say peripheral vision is not a strong point with him.
