Well last three pages it's all about Zlatan or other big names, don't check every page like someone .-)Erm...
Yeah, its a real shock to me too...

Would actually make sense kind of... Wouldn't expect to be a starter, provides the physical and aerial presence up front if we need it as our current strikers are all short, but is great at holding up play like Van Gaal likes his strikers to do. Also would only be a short term option until Rooney is done as a starting striker and we replace him as the main man up front. The Mirror reporting it is Llorente
How about Embolo from Basle? Don't think we've been linked in the press. Young and looks a real prospect.
I would like someone who can at least compete for Rooney's place and push him into performing for fear of being dropped. Not a simple back up in case of injury.Would actually make sense kind of... If we were to sign Llorente, then I can't see a future for Fellaini. Llorente could basically offer us everything Fellaini does.

Quietly a very good player.Might as well get Charlie Austin then. Wtf Llorente ?
Rooney is the captain and offers more then your average striker in terms of his work rate and all that so it's highly unlikely that Van Gaal will sign somebody to displace Rooney. Besides, Van Gaal said that the only player apart from the goalkeeper who always plays is the captain.I would like someone who can at least compete for Rooney's place and push him into performing for fear of being dropped. Could make sense as a short term signing, I guess.
Nothing is more likely to result in Wayne cruising through the season in mediocre mode - like last seasonRooney is the captain and offers more then your average striker in terms of his work rate and all that so it's highly unlikely that Van Gaal will sign somebody to displace Rooney. This is my big fear for the upcoming season I hope Rooney proves me wrong...Nothing is more likely to result in Wayne cruising through the season in mediocre mode - like last season
Wouldn't say that... Who exactly did he have competing with him in 09/10 or 11/12? He scored 34 goals both years. With Rooney, he just needs to be the focal point of the attack and stay up top as a poacher basically, not have him move around the pitch, go deeper to try and influence play or anything like that. That hurts his game more then any sort of complacency he might get.Nothing is more likely to result in Wayne cruising through the season in mediocre mode - like last season
Fellaini plays deeper and arrives late though.
I am not sure his hold up play would be that good in the PL tbh. Not that it is that great anyway plus he is getting slower year by year.
Llorente and cillessen, our potential signings are going downhill pretty quickly.

Where's your goddamn link, want to click on your article and read it! I'm sure your claims are as substantiated as the Llorente calls! It's Marco Reus.
I've suggested him as well. He'd be great. Martial is another of that age group.

Makes sense, Dwazza von Sherlocksville. It's just a feeling. LVG only said striker's position, not striker. Reus could easily play up front and has the quality to play for us as well as the wow factor his signature would bring. Plus we haven't been linked with him this summer. #believe #marcopolo

That was goodI think it's a brilliant deduction, Twatson*.
*Only kidding, I love you.
Someone break out the gif from The Office. The Mirror reporting it is Llorente
The one where he elbows the woman in the face? Seems a bit harsh.Someone break out the gif from The Office.
There's no way Juventus would let Llorente, Tevez and Vidal go in one transfer window. Their fans would revolt.
In a separate thought, I'd be gutted if we brought Welbeck back from Arsenal. That's one we haven't been linked with yet.
I would happily elbow you in the face if it meant not getting LlorenteThe one where he elbows the woman in the face? Seems a bit harsh.
Do you think we should opt for Neuer and Messi instead ?
This is going to be some unknown kid from South America, much like the Hernandez signing. Coming in as 3rd or 4th choice.
