2 chances of that happening . They pick and chooseYellow. If it’s a red then send off Ayew and Fred too. Consistency is key if you’re going to be reducing players a side has available. Even without those two players he only grabs his shirt so I’d argue a yellow. He puts himself at risk by raising his hands unfortunately but still not enough for me. Not violent conduct either.
RestCafeFor those shouting for Casemiro to get a rest, be careful for what you wish for next time.
Sending off several would really be silly and would have fully ruined the game. It would show the very lack of common sense that most of us object to.Nobody is a cheerleader for the ref. We simply understand that he’s left the ref no choice with the red. If this has happened the other way you’d all be scrambling fir a sending off.
oh and personally I’d have sent several off including Casemiro and Ayew
I wonder what the thought would be if it were Robertson of Liverpool doing the same thing?Sending off several would really be silly and would have fully ruined the game. It would show the very lack of common sense that most of us object to.
Regardless of “giving the ref the opportunity” or any actions that were unnecessary, the only question is “was there violent conduct”. Honestly? There was no violence and certainly not from Case - you only need to apply common sense when interpreting the actual wording of the law and all this silliness can be avoided. Yes these sorts of melees should be discouraged but yellow cards are proportionate.
You truly are inventing stuff now, putting words in people's mouths and trying to position yourself as the one and only possible source of truth. So, you are one of the 40% or one of that 80%, I guess.
If we appeal and fail, it's one more game to the ban. We’ll definitely appeal. I think there are clear grounds due to the angle in slow motion being shown to the ref not giving the full picture which would make it impossible to deem it frivolous. Doubt it’ll succeed but there’s no way that should be a red card - and fair play to linekar for changing his mind after seeing the new footage rather than just repeatedly posting about a still image which clearly incorrectly implies he has his hands around his throat and is throttling him like some on here have been.
If we appeal and fail, it's one more game to the ban.
I doubt we'll appeal.
It used to be, not sure if it still is.It’s not automatically an extra game is it?
I keep seeing this posted

The idea is to prevent teams from appealing every red card which creates work for the committees, time and money, etc. I support the logic of an automaticone game in case of unsuccessful appeal. Incentives align.
Only if deemed frivolous to delay the ban which I have no idea how this could be. The downside is I’m assuming they wouldn’t make a decision on the appeal until after Leeds meaning Casemiro is able to play on Wednesday but if the appeal is rejected he misses the cup final. If we appeal and fail, it's one more game to the ban.
I doubt we'll appeal.
Send him off, obviously - I’d send that guy off for existing.I wonder what the thought would be if it were Robertson of Liverpool doing the same thing?
I've had an eleven year hiatus from posting on this forum, I've never stopped reading but also never felt the urge to get back to posting, but near enough 40% of you cnuts have driven me to write this (and a few drinks).
You need to cop the feck on, some of the shit I've seen posted on here by supposed fans of this club is a fecking disgrace. After everything Casimero has done for this club since he's joined, transformed our midfield and showed nothing but 100% every time he has been on the pitch, to see how quick you all are to call him out on this stitch up of a VAR decision disgusts me. Do you not for one minute think he deserves our support? I could see in real time that he was doing nothing but try to diffuse this situation, even without the countless replays that have been shown since, and still with all the evidence shown some of you are still not backing down?
Unbelievably disappointing, and exactly the reason I stopped posting to begin with.
You all have no right to call yourselves United fans and deserve none of the success that ETH is going to bring this club.
Feck me and end of rant.
This is correct. Cas wasn’t aggressive, he was moving Hughes away and as stated elsewhere in the thread, they laugh and hug it out at the end. It’s a nonsense decision.I've had an eleven year hiatus from posting on this forum, I've never stopped reading but also never felt the urge to get back to posting, but near enough 40% of you cnuts have driven me to write this (and a few drinks).

The mistake was the referees and VARs not Casemiro’s. It’s not something we should just accept, it’s not right.Casemiro has been great, he made a mistake and got a red card. It was deserved, we'll miss him. Such is life.
Who the feck hires this guy as a pundit? He makes Souness look sane.
Looking back now it’s clearly not a red card but I still don’t think it’s worth appealing and potentially losing him for the final.
Yeah there are a few posters (with a high post count) insisting Red but most others feel it was harsh (even if admitting there was quite a bit of stuff there that was in the grey area and probably worthy of Yellows).Good to see the overwhelming majority don’t feel it was a red card
You're not the boss of me now.I can’t read the “can you repeat the question?” Option without hearing the Malcolm in the Middle theme in my head.
United should appeal by the way - it’s a very harsh red card.
No, only if it's deemed a frivolous appeal. It’s not automatically an extra game is it?
I keep seeing this posted
It's going to happen so let's open the thread now.
My thoughts are maybe.
