Smashley Young

I don't give two shits about his diving.... He's just crap though and I think Moyes knows he needs to go.

He's responsible for the suicide of my hamster. #TakeOutThe(Tr)ash

Reactions: Skills
I wonder how Zaha would have done tonight. I know...he's young etc but I thought it would have been interesting. Probably just not experienced enough though

I'm not even going to criticize him, people that hoped RVP misses is worse, complete nutters.

Do people still remember our MORALE victory against Madrid last year ? Give me a break. Young was wrong but this kind of reaction is OTT and a disgrace.

You're not entitled to throw yourself to the ground when it's an unnatural reaction to the contact between you and the defender. That's cheating.
Refs won't give anything unless you go down. That's just the way it is unfortunately.

You and I vastly differ on what is right then

The right thing is the defender not being an idiot and taking risks like that in the box.

D'feck?

People genuinely claiming he had a right to go down. Astonishing.

If Moyes wants to gain any respect out of this, he'll enforce a ban on him and levy a huge fine.

He was on for minimal time tonight and won us a penalty and laid an open goal on for RVP I'm not his biggest fan but he did very well when he came on!

Had any other player dived it wouldn't come close to this reaction. People here are foaming at the mouth in anticipation of having a go.

Are you a lawyer? You certainly build a strong case for a gulity man

You're happy winning games by cheating then? It's embarrassing.

I'm happy when United win games yes. Nobody wept for us when the referee sorted out Madrid against us last season.

I find it hilarious that the same 'fans' who are so precious about how United should play the games and the same ones who will be shouting 'Moyes Out' if we end up with nothing at the end of season.

He won't, but it's telling that two managers who have a reputation for being really defensive of their players no matter what have already publicly called him on it.

Think you're confusing issues here

Ah in fairness man, we've won fecking loads of games over the past 20 years in dubious fashion. I hear what you're saying, but you can't have one rule for one thing and another rule for something else. Ideally you'd like to see it out of the game as much as possible, and if it were Stevie Starfish I'd have been roaring at the TV, but it's just never going to go.

Ronaldo was an absolute cnut for it. I think we need to find the happy medium and enjoy a game that is always going to have that sort of thing in it

Oh really, I find it hilarious when people like to categorise all fans together. I have a right to not want to see any of our players cheating, does that mean I'm going to shout Moyes out at the end of the season? feck off.

I dislike him and this was the first time in my life I was quite happy to see United not scoring from penalty. Getting rid of him is like a new signings. He's shit and he's the biggest diver in England. feck him!
Well this is a ridiculous viewpoint to take. The penalty was clearly a dive, but feck that, I wanted it buried.

I remember Arsenal forward went down (dived) vs Celtic (Eduardo I think) and Arsenal went to take Fifa to court even though he clearly dived! People in glass houses and all that Alastair......

He's willing to tarnish his reputation in order for us to win the game. True red. Moyes should have a word with him to praise him and tell him not to take in all the abuse.

I wish he'd stop hitting the deck. Makes it nearly impossible to defend him.

Otherwise he looked lively at first then reverted to type. I can't believe how much he's regressed as a player. The winger we bought was a much more dangerous player than this. Seriously running out of time for him now. Januzaj has shown what other options are capable of. If Zaha is given the same opportunity then he may show he can bring more invention than Young as well. He doesn't deserve to be getting minutes for us at the moment over others.

How dare you question the integrity of the fans of this great institution, its not as if united fans have ever biasedly defended the diving of another winger..nop never

At least he says Young dives unlike Wenger regarding Pires and the likes.

I don't agree with any cheating really, I don't care if no one shed tears for us when Nani was sent off, 2 wrongs don't make a right in the football world.

I hate players diving, especially when it's as blatant as that. I mean fair enough if there was a leg out that made him lose balance, but an arm across his chest makes him fall over? It's ridiculous and I find it embarrassing.

What the feck has Arsenal got anything to do with this?
