So PSA drops Picamoles for sarcastically clapping the ref, but recalls a player who has a hearing pending for a headbutt. Rugby had a strange moral code sometimes.

PSA is a nutter.

The bleacherreport goes with these predictions:

Ireland 30-6 Italy
Scotland 10-26 France
England 21-25 Wales

Which would leave the table as follows:
Ireland Pts6 PD+67
France Pts6 PD+17
Wales Pts6 PD+10
England Pts4 PD+17
Scotland Pts2 PD-57
Italy Pts0 PD-53

England would be out of the title race then. France would have to beat Ireland by an amount up to 6pts less than Wales.

Wales predicted to beat England in Twickenham? If Ireland didnt do it I dont think Wales will.

Depends. I can see Wales rasing their game and they're certainly not lacking in power.

Wales had a shocker against Ireland last year, too, then proceeded to beat everyone else. They're not out of it yet. Though I do think we'll find it hard at Twickenham.

The issue you've got is the points difference, Ireland and France would be expected to win and we (Ireland) in particular will expect to rack up a reasonable margin at home to the Italians. I think you're underdogs going to Twickenham but it should be a really exciting, tight game. Basically you need us to lose in France because otherwise I can't see anyone making up the points difference gap as it is currently.

Aye, the points difference is the big thing. To be honest, if Wales don't win it then I want Ireland to do so seeing as it's now my home. Anyone but the English, feck.

Ha, good man. I've a bad feeling England will win it, France are pretty poor but it'd be typical Ireland to balls it up while England have got their difficult game at home.

I thought you were English, Count?

I am, really. Born and raised in England. But my father's side of the family -- the rugby side; my mother's side are into football -- are all very, very Welsh. So I've been brought up supporting the rugby nation of my forebears!

Tommy Bowe back with a bang last night for Ulster, played the first half and scored two tries. It will be a big boost having him back in the squad.

Who loses out if he gets back in? Kearney? Unlucky on either as both have been playing well.
It'd be Dave, Rob's a vital part of the team. It would be unfortunate because Dave Kearney has done fairly well but Bowe is our outstanding winger and his return would make a big difference.

I was talking about D.Kearney v Trimble. It's great having such options.

Bowe would be a huge return for Ireland if he does get picked next week.

Speaking of returns Man Utd Tuilagi is back today for Leicester.

I thought Zebo looked sharp in the Munster game. Very unpredictable in his running with the ball and really has a turn of pace but I think it would be very hard on either Trimble or Kearney to lose out. Both have been very good and Trimble has been inches away from making try scoring breaks while both have not put a foot wrong for me.

Wales: Leigh Halfpenny (Blues); Alex Cuthbert (Blues), Jonathan Davies (Scarlets), Jamie Roberts (Racing Metro), George North (Northampton); Rhys Priestland (Scarlets), Rhys Webb (Ospreys); Gethin Jenkins (Blues), Richard Hibbard (Ospreys), Adam Jones (Ospreys), Luke Charteris (Perpignan), Alun Wyn Jones (Ospreys), Dan Lydiate (Racing Metro), Sam Warburton (Blues, capt), Taulupe Faletau (Dragons).

That's a really, really strong side.

Gethin Jenkins will get sin binned for collapsing the scrum, though, as he has every game since they changed the rules :p

O'Driscoll's final home game, I've a feeling we'll rack up a big score. No Parisse for Italy is a big surprise.

No Charteris is a big, big blow for Wales. Tipping it even more in England's favour.

Good afternoon for us here. Just a question of how many point we win by now.

I'm pretty sure you've got enough points now to mean that any win against France takes the title.

Great haul of points this afternoon. Surely with such a large point difference any kind of win against France will do now.

To be fair to him, I though the French TH (Mas?) kept binding on his arm. Also, he'll be up against Wilson, who looked poor in the last game (although he was seriously short of playing time).

Haha, Scotland lose in the last minute. cnuts. Deserve it for fluking it against Italy the same way.

That's ideal for Wales. France winning to keep their hopes alive, but not winning by too much. Ireland still have a huge job on to win in Paris and Wales/England will be ready to pounce. Whoever does the business tomorrow has a great chance of the title for me.

Not many Rugby fans here is there? Entering the last game of the penultimate gameweek and only 4 pages in

Come on Wales! Kind of expect an English victory today but hopefully we'll pull out something from the bag. Should be a very good game

BOD's swansong in Parish, Ireland win the championship- it's written in the stars.

In the u20s England hammered Wales 67-7. Unusually high score but it's a little easier to understand when you see just how bad Wales' defending was.

BBC Wales have just shown an England vs Wales match from 1988. It's interesting to see just how much the game of rugby has changed since then.

What a start from England. Wales are gonna get thrashed if they don't pick it up.
