Agreed.Indeed. Since it is so obvious, one can deduce that the tweet was intended to calm muppet fears as it gives of the impression that we are indeed bringing new faces.

And not saying Robbo wasn't a good defender from the middle but Vidal imo is a defensive specialist who contributes going forward, not the other way around. I wouldn't give 7 to a player like Vidal, or for that matter a player like Xabi Alonso, Busquets, etc.Not our number 7.

I just see the number 7 as being the number belonging to the focal point. The player that best defines how we play.

Yep, the no. 7 at Manchester United does hold significant importance and is probably the only number I'm ever remotely concerned with in terms of who it is assigned to. I never saw Robson play but know enough about him and the no. 7 to suggest Vidal would be a fine addition to the array of Manchester United no. 7's.It sure is, but the idea that Raul, a classic 9 for another club is deemed more relevant to our number 7 shirt than Bryan Robson is depressing.
