Would be a great deal if we can get them to accept a first refusal clause instead
Hopefully not, he'll be pining for Madrid and we'll never hear the end of the transfer stories every single window.
Not the impression I got. Respected jouno in Marca: Jose Felix Diaz says United and Real are deep in negotiations with Real standing firm for their buy-back clause. Also Reguilón changed his agent to Kia Joorabchian. Real are looking to get LB Marcos Acuña from Sporting for €12m. If they land him, then I hope they will let Reguilón leave without a buy back.Going by the Marca report and Sport witness article, buy back clause is flexible and can be removed. The final value will depend on the agreement we reach (with or without clause), so maybe we will pay bit more and remove the clause

Unless we set it at 80m
Real bought back Morata just to resell him for a profit. They may not need him but if theres money to be made then they will activate the clause. There’s not even a guarantee that the buy-back clause would get activated. We’ve got (or had) them on Januzaj, Zaha and Depay. I think we had Rossi on one when he went to Villarreal.
Real could be very happy with Ferland Mendy two years from now or a completely new LB could come on the market in that time that they would be looking at.
Or the player himself could actually end up liking being at Utd to the point the lure of Real isn’t as strong.
Real never had a buyback with Hakimi though, he was on loan for 2 seasons before they sold him without a buyback. I think the same would be possible with Reguilon if they end up receiving a similar increased feeThe concern with the buy back is if Real use it like the Hakimi or Morata ones where they get the players back cheap and then flog on at a higher price.
Maybe we will accept a buy back clause to lower the transfer fee, to eventually free up some money for you-know-who
They have him at tier 2, he's under review and may be dropped to tier 3.Yeah maybe we will just have to wait and see, considered to be tier 1 reliability according to Reddit
Encouraging updates - buying a new LB should be our highest priority along with a winger.

Would have put CB above it however that looks off the table until next summer now
CB is also important but given we have so many in our squad and not easy to get rid of them so we are prioritising other areas first - which is the right thing to do imo
somebody best tell them that the window closes on the 5th October
If we get him for 25M and buy back is for 55-60M then I wouldn't worry about it. He's not going to be a generational talent like Haaland whom we couldn't afford to have that sort of clause. What's the point of getting a player with a buy back clause. I'd prefer if we looked for someone else, someone who wont feck off if he's decent.
