Ramos is coming!
Ramos is coming!

Ramos is coming!

I'm assuming when he's shagging, he refers to himself in the 3rd person.

The image of Sergio Ramos and Pilar Rubio trying to understand a movie in english

Perez won't sell him, he knows that few in the fans are already very unhappy with the way Iker issue was handled. He can't afford to lose the club captain now. Whether they agree for another contract with Ramos is different issue, but I see no way Perez will sell Ramos now. Maybe next season, but definitely not now.

Cassilas moving has unfortunately ruined any chance of that happening. Would love to get him though.

Its both hilarious and sad that in 2015 the most credible source of any transfer is what the players girlfriend wants. If she doesnt mind a move to Manchester, then its a goer!

Pussies!

Ramos feels like that one girl you develop feelings for, get used to suppressing those feelings and label her a bitch, only to regress again.

Stop it FFS.

To sell Ramos (unless it's for a ridiculous price) would make Perez look like he is not in control of RM now. I would love to see this happen, but it would be a very surprising move for Perez/Madrid to make.

This deal isn't dead as long as De Gea is here. Also, incase nobody has noticed, Woody is the King of the Jungle.

So Ramos's girlfriend would be happy to live in Manchester but De Gea's only wants to live in Madrid. Simple solution here is for them to just wife swap and everyone's happy.

Seems pretty clear that Ramos wants to leave however it is extremely unlikely he will be allowed to. Perez has already received plenty of criticism about the way Casillas was treated there's no way he's going to risk another move that might put him into a worse situation.

Id love for this to happen but:
  1. They won't sell him after making Casillas leave.
  2. United won't sell them De Gea on the cheap so Madrid will just wait til next summer.
  3. United are selling Valdes so its more likely De Gea will stay anyway, completely ending any chance we had on getting Ramos.
  4. We're probably signing Otamendi anyway.

Ramos must put in a transfer request if he really wants to come here and even then there would be riots in Madrid if Perez sells him. When you also factor De Gea's situation, it becomes a very complicated transfer even if he clearly wants to come.

I dont see Ramos coming here without DDG going to opposite way.

RamON?

This is a huge process, but you can tell that he wants to come and there's been no reconciliation with Real Madrid so far. This will come down to how far the club wants to bend, but he's not using us for a contact/captaincy.. the intent to come here from him is genuine otherwise he'd of long signed a contract.

Madrid doesnt keep players who want to leave. One of the perks of signing galaticos.
This tells me we are hoping to sign both Ramos and Otamendi. Unreal if we do

Wouldnt stun me if that's the case with this regime. Ed loves to load up on the signings, and Van Gaal notoriously likes competition in his side.

Perez don't give a toss given how he hounded away Özil, di Maria and Iker.

Hmm, this is very interesting. I did believe that Ramos truly did want to leave, but I also thought that it would blow over and that him getting captaincy and rumours perhaps dying down a bit over the last week or so meant that that was exactly what was happening. But this makes me think that perhaps the relationship is even more fractured than I thought.

Must admit, the thought of taking their star defender (and new captain) when they don't want to sell him does have an attraction in it's own right.

Obviously the most logical thing to do is for De Gea and Ramos to swap girlfriends.

Fantastic.

You too Stevok, unfortunately you got pipped to the post.

That would be shocking. If we buy a striker and a goalkeeper as well we are almost fielding a whole starting lineup of new signings. Not good.

I've got a good feeling about Ramos.

Would've expected his contact to be sorted by now if this whole thing was about a pay rise.

This is a game of brinkmanship. We will get Ramos coming to us and DDG will go the other way - both deals will happen later in the window.

It's been different this last time after kicking Iker out, long time club player and national team captain, while Di María and Ozil had been at the club for just a few seasons. I don't think Pérez expected such a backlash, home and abroad. It seems some at madrid are starting to get tired of his ways and overall poor football results during his mandates.

Also, he has a pending lawsuit with trial around october. A group of madrid members argue he changed the club statutes to leave most possible presidential candidates out of the race (and they are quite right, imo). If the judge rules in their favour the statutes would be changed back and immediately new elections would take place.

I think Pérez feels his position at madrid is insecure.

Agreed. I thought Real work on he premise that players should be able to play for whoever they want.

I think he will be at United and De Gea at Real by the start of the season.

Logical, but you're forgetting football isn't always logical.

Who thought we'd get VP or Mata. Who thought Wenger could possibly turn down Fabregas? Who could possibly believe we turned down Mourinho for Moyes?

Players have the power these days. If Ramos makes enough fuss, it can happen.
It obviously depends on what extent we actually want him, and what extent we're doing it to hijack the De Gea situation.

Valdez probably doesn't make any difference to anything. He was never going to be our first choice. It smacked of a move to give the impression we have a keeper handy, so aren't desperate to buy anyone else. But he was never going to be a contender.
