It doesn't matter about entertainment or viewings, that original post was 100% correct.

Majority of players see madrid and barca as a step up from every prem club. When you're the best you go to spain.

If Madrid and Barsa were playing in P.L they would also win 6-0.At the end I see the same winners (+now petrol teams)and the same teams in Europa league. For me is a show a long time ago

I very much doubt it, for starters the players don't get near the level of protection that they get in La Liga and the smaller teams here are of a standard that makes it difficult no matter who you are.

More competition in England. Less diving and fannying about. In Spain, Barcelona and Madrid will probably win 9 out of the next 10 championships because the system is designed to help them and even with the elections, you can get Laporta saying he'll sign Pogba. It's panto. United were dominant for Large periods but that was more about Sir Alex and we might see Chelsea be a threat with Jose.
True, you can add that the stadiums are full almost every match as well which adds atmosphere to games. Watching some la liga games in half empty stadiums is hard work. Sure, the big games are full but not the others.

Players are sheep,. years ago they all wanted to go to Italy.

Not a debate for this thread but I don't know why P.L is more entertaining.the best show should have the best actors and we enjoy Messi and Cristiano every weekend. As a viewer I am not interested in profits or audiences
But what about the other 8 or 9 matches every week? You can't just talk about Real Madrid and Barca, if you're going to talk about La Liga as a whole you're talking about the other 18 teams as well.

I don't actually care about debating the best league in the world though, there's no such thing given entertainment is subjective, I can see why players would want to play in both leagues.

I don't understand that debate either.I prefer la liga because I am used to la liga and I like the style. The tackles/pace/aerial game or physical challenges are not for me.I prefer skills with the ball and passing game, even if its slow and too tactical.I envy the atmosphere, the stadiums but I don't think that a game Newcastle-West Ham is more entertaining than Rayo-Espanyol

There is a ridiculous amount of tumescent and depressing games in the PL. At the end of the day you watch a league because you're just used to it.

Which league you prefer is entirely up the the individual. However this argument that all players want to play in La Liga is flawed. It just so happens that currently Iberian and south American countries are producing the better players and people from those regions tend to prefer La Liga. However, if Asia, North America, and other Premier League preferred regions produced the best players, then they would all want to join United.

Guys take the my club is bigger than your club nonsense to a new thread in the football forum. Stop derailing the thread

People who really think that EPL is better than La Liga should quite football. Currently, it isn't even close. In fact, it can be arged that Bundesliga is better than EPL too. Also the difference between La Liga and EPL is bigger than between EPL/Bundesliga and Serie A.

About EPL being the biggest league in the world, that is undoubdetly true.

Would be interesting to know how many people actually think this signing will happen.

After all that has been said, I'd still put money on him penning a new deal.

I read that according to gambling sites Ramos staying in Madrid is 1.6 .I don't use to bet so I don't know well how reliable they are.do they have their own ways to get information or it's more an evaluation of the news appearing daily?

Betting quotes means feck all. Many times they stop bets for some players to some team and nothing happens. Last year, Vidal at United was suspended and nothing happened.

They know as much as us. It is purely based on speculation, common sense and on how people are betting.

1.6 is about what 8/15 that he stays, so him going must be rated at about 6/4, that seems about right to me at this stage,

Not sure what the betting is on DDG staying with is but I'd wager its larger than 1.6 , so there could be some value there.

I would say Ramos is more likely to win the league at United than Real. Barca are too good.

We can catch Chelsea with a few top signings.

The smart money is that this rumbles on for another month.

We'll get to 370 pages.
There'll be 1000 people saying "I can't see this happening, he's using us for a contract increase"
there'll be 1000 other people saying "I can see this happening"

of the latter 1000, half will say he's a legend, half will say he's overrated.

and erm..it'll all be a real roundabout of the same info, with very little changing.

Meanwhile, back to Ramos.

Ronaldo was asked in the US about the coming season. All the usual and obvious stuff about looking forward to it, confident that it will be a good one etc. And on where Ramos will be: "I don't know."

Stoop it, You are just teasing us.

The more this goes on the less confident I am
As others have posted, we really never know anything about any transfer and how far along they may or may not be.

Saying that, the Ramos transfer could be going either way, we just don't have any way of telling because the journalists are definitely doing guess work from what we've seen - they know feck all most of the time, unless of corse transfers are all but official. Just my two cents.

I think it's 50/50. Assuming it's not about getting a better contract Real could easily just accept they have to wait a year for De Gea and make Ramos stay because they don't want to be forced into anything. I think it will go on all summer though, no quick resolution.

Watching the copa America now and Otamendi hasn't put a foot wrong all tournament. We should stop fecking around with Ramos and get Otamendi.
He is gettable and definitely wants to play for MUFC.

GET IN! RamON

Confirmed by Cr7 himself who's given the green light for this move.

Well it's these same journalists that have brought to our attention this whole Ramos thing. I wouldn't say they know feck all. There are plenty that know quite a bit.

This is the sort of assumption that has led to heartbreak for United fans when players go elsewhere. Otamendi has said nothing of the sort, and if anything, there is greater reason to believe that Ramos wants to play for United than Otamendi.
