That is when the trial starts but the original trial had the verdict announced the same day so I don't think it'll last long.
I find it interesting that United would push as far as they have if it is a lost cause. They must think the possibility is good enough to offer the contract and trial. Although, it could be one of those times where you just take a shot figuring nothing is lost if things fall through.

To me this just sounds like it's the Aurier camp trying to drum up interest in him by using our name.
Could be the case and I doubt ParisUnited have the crystal ball to forsee the court's verdict.

Someone said earlier that ParisUnited can be sometimes reliable when it comes to inside info on PSG but it's doubtful they're on the same level as L'equipe or even Canal +.

Didn't Duncan Castles say Mourinho wanted more than four players?

We were linked to Benficas Semedo quite strongly in the Portuguese press before he moved to Barca, so I wouldn't be surprised if we actually are interested in Aurier.

Btw he's a good friend of Pogba. ParisUnited have been ridiculously reliable for PSG this summer.

And one of Bailly. I think this deal might happen, provided his hearing goes well.

Wonder if Mourinho wants the option to shift Valencia up the pitch in some games as well.

The competition will be fierce domestically and in Europe for us. We're gonna need strength in depth and can't rely on just Valencia at RB.

Hopefully Shaw can get fit and impress on the left. LB seems more of a problem right now but I do hope we sign Aurier to really strengthen our right side.

As good as he is, we haven't seen anything from our usual reliable news outlets on this one. Don't think this'll happen personally.

When it comes to PSG they're usually pretty damn accurate tbf

A top centre forward, another attacker, a holding midfielder, a centre back, a full back. All Champions League class

I really dislike this man. The title of that article is absolutely absurd.

The entire thing is typical Castles 'woe is Mou' nonsense. Look how hard it's going to be, Mourinho needs to compete in the CL! and the PL! with overrated players! Did I mention they're all overpriced?!

EDIT: This post is from the 4th of July. Why did you repost it?

If this is real and it's still a big IF

I'd say its the price that has United interested, even if he turns into another Balotelli. His re-sale value will be much bigger than we are paying. So its a win win from that perspective. And if he is as friendly with Pogs and who ever the other was mentioned, surely they will help him settle and mature him. Ok im being more hopeful than actual there but it is possible. And we have a record of employing mavericks and the odd supposed trouble maker.

I think he is an acceptable risk at the low price he is... And if it all works out, we have one hell of a full back on our hands.

Probably to say we want a fullback too

Fingers crossed the hearing goes well because he's an outstanding full-back when he's on his game. I think his career has stalled for different reasons so a fresh move would do him good

Maybe the new tactic to get Perisic is to put Darmian in the deal and this guy is his replacement?

Don't want him at all. Would rather give Mensah and Tuanzebe chances.

Right can someone explain to me why they'd agree a deal with him if it's extremely likely he'll never be allowed into the UK?

What am I missing here?

When was the last time we bought a player who was as much of a cnut as this guy seems to be?

TFM doesn't see himself as a right back iicr - his own words. Neither is Tuanzebe.

They probably know something that we don’t if it’s true I can only assume.

He is a top quality right back, and will be a great replacement for Valencia, in fact I think he's already better than him. For 20 odd million he's an absolute bargain. Would be very happy with this!

The only way is his solicitors strongly believe his sentence will be overturned. I'm not sure how they can know what the judge is thinking for certain.

Delaney said there are truth in the rumours. Still unlikely, according to reports he'll be very unlikely to get his visa.

cantona?

keane?

Keane. Keane was a bit of cnut who abused our own players and fans, rightly or wrongly. Lol

Also, RvN. Slagged Ronaldo about his dead dad iicr.

It can't be underestimated how important another right back is for us this season.

It's our main attacking outlet on a flank in which we would otherwise have no width. Mkhitaryan, Mata and Lingard (when they play there) all drift inwards, leaving Valencia a lot of work to do going forward.

But Valencia is 32 and clearly required a fair bit of rotating last season. He needs the quality cover and competition in the form of an attacking right back. Left back is fine when Shaw returns, and Darmian can hold the fort until that happens. But if we lose Valencia on the right then we're up shit creek.

If not Aurier then someone else, but it needs to happen.

That’s true and neither can anyone else. Until the hearing I guess no one really knows but if we’re putting a deal together you’d think our solicitors think he has some sort of case.
