As good as he is, we haven't seen anything from our usual reliable news outlets on this one. Don't think this'll happen personally.

José actually thinks Valencia is one of, if not the best right back in the world, so for that reason I call it bollocks.

Do any of the British journalists have contacts with French sources? Only reliable one I can remember is that Mohammed Boufasi guy.

What about the guy they had at RB that sliced Barcelona's midfield in half in the Champions League first leg?

Presumably younger and he was quoted as saying he'd love to play here.

Can't see this happen. Is he legally even allowed into the country?

Also, he's about 6 inches too short for the Manchester Globetrotters.
He isn't allowed in the country at the moment. Depends how his appeal goes on the 7th but it is doubtful the conviction will be overturned.

No idea but at least one of them would have gotten wind of this by now if something was in the works. Bouhafsi is the only French journalist I know of who's reliable, then again I don't think I know any French journalists besides him.

PSG don't sell players they want to keep. Barcelona tried that with Verratti and are about to lose Neymar as a result.

Even if you're being facetious, Valencia is 32 in a couple of days and clearly has some mysterious niggling injury worries, which Jose has alluded to before. Signing a right back isn't a priority signing but it does make a lot of sense

Everything is coming from "ParisUnited" are they actually in any way reliable?

Yes

I do hope he doesn't go to Tottenham though, he'd fit that side perfectly just like he'd fit us.

I'm being genuine. Valencia in Jose eyes has had nothing but praise, I can't see Jose sticking him on the bench this coming season.

I'll tell you this, if he sorts out his temperament, he'll be the best right back in the league (If he were to join). Immense potential.

I agree, but it could be more a signing of necessity than wanting to actively replace Valencia, due to my above points. He might have also decided that TFM isn't ready to be #2 and will go out on loan, while Darmian is either his preferred left back reserve or could maybe be off to Inter as part of the Perisic chaos. We'll see.

And to add further to my other post. José has said all along we want 4 players, he said he last 2 were a midfielder (which we now have), and an attacking winger.

I dont rate him and don't get why we want him if we can just give TFM/Axel minutes. We already have TFM/Axel/Darmian as backup and don't rate them lower than Aurier who's like 3rd choice at PSG.

This would be a good signing. Valencia doesn't need to play every game at 32. He'd be an absolute snip at that price also

With Pogba, Lukaku, Bailly, all French speakers and big figures who could give him guidance. As well as Zlatan (if he stays) and a manager like Mourinho, I think this could really be the best place for him. Some people have too many personal problems though, you never know.

I thought him and Zlatan didn't see eye to eye?

Anyone think Jose probably wants him so he could push Valencia back to the right wing in bigger games to have additional defensive stability?

I had that notion. It would certainly give us options.

Will we find out the actual result of the appeal on the 7th, or is that when a trial starts?

That is when the trial starts but the original trial had the verdict announced the same day so I don't think it'll last long.
Why do you know so much useless info man?

Google. "serge aurier trial" came up with result saying he'd stand trial on 26 September 2016. "serge aurier verdict" came up with result of verdict on 26 September too :p Easy enough.
why could you be arsed though?

What's the point of getting excited when he's never going to be allowed into England. I'd like him too but seriously there's no point even discussing this.

:wenger:

do you think we have legit interest in the guy damo?
Ordinarily I'd say no as Mourinho always said he wanted 4 signings, but with Aurier only really becoming available in the summer and the unique circumstances of his case, it might be that he's viewed as an optional fifth depending on his verdict. I think he'll most likely head to Inter.

Really? I have no insight into their relationship tbh.

Well, he called Blanc a faggot who sucks Zlatan's dick while they were all at PSG. After that Aurier was sent to train with the reserves.

I dunno what to think about this, good player, but a complete bellend. Is he really worth all the trouble?
