Semi-finals | Spain vs France | Netherlands vs England

Mainoo is an incredible talent but his lack of movement is weird. Don't particularly like his overly "calmness" either. Needs to speed up the play sometimes and not just show everyone how relaxed you are.
 
The Dutch had to be more compact and it's working but now there's very little goal threat.

Yeah it’s mental thinking guys like Kluivert, RVP, RVN, Bergkamp, Robben etc. have lead into Depay, Weggy, Bergwijn, Gakpo etc.
 
Mainoo hiding from the ball. Needs to come short and dictate the play.

No issue with his calmness but he does need some mobility in his game. He sometimes just stands still with the oppo player.
 
did southgate change the formation after half time? They just seem different.
 
Now is the time for a change, we are shrinking back allowing them into it, need to stretch them and give them something to worry about.
 
So England are boring and barely playing for 45mins, Southgate doesn't change formation.

We actually are on the front foot in a game, and he changes it.

Playing for penalties even this early :lol:

Shaw for Trippier and anybody for Kane was all we needed, no formation messing. fecking idiot of a man.
