Your defence isnt that good, it´s being protected by class midfielders, that makes a difference. Strikers: bellamy, crouch and fowler...the list was a list of the positions you needed to cover when the transfer window opened.

Pennant has been very good for Birmingham...they wanted to keep him, leading to us paying a bit over the odds. We needed a player of his type, and will have to see if Rafa can get the best out of him. Probably

Our defence is excellent. Best CB partnership in the league last season, and along with Terry, Carra has been the best CB in the league over the last couple of years. Finnan is class, and Riise had a great season last year.
I'd like to see us sign one more striker...as much due to concerns re Fowler remaining fit for a whole season as anything else.
Good chance of you finishing below us and going out of the CL early(anything other here would be a shock!). Can't see you failing to make top 4
