Everybody including myself doubted that but he has proved us all wrong this season. He's played regularly and we miss him dearly when he's not playing. I cannot wait for Pogba to step into this team now and become the pivotal point in attack because i think Pogba can break teams and that's our only problem right now.
I disagree. He looked incredibly limited when he first came in. He tried hard but wasn't the commanding presence he has been recently. He wasn't even particularly well rated at youth level and his call up came as a complete surprise. His improvement in such a small space of time has truly been incredible. Only 8 midfielders have more successful dribbles per game or per 90 mins. Out of that players like David Silva, KdB, Maddison are more attacking midfielders than CMs.
He is very underrated when it comes to his skill on the ball, not very good passer of the ball but he carries the ball so well.

10k isn’t really that much, especially for a pro athlete. The improvements he has made are insane,. I didn't see this coming one year ago. I think the injuries last season and this season in the midfield, were a blessing in disguise, because they gave McT minutes and responsibility without having to take all the pressure.

It’s also that his kind of players often go under the radar for us fans, because he is not so spectacular. Not so fancy but putting in damn good work.He played well during the spring as one of the few players near the end. Started well under Mourinho too in the big games, but not so great against the weaker sides. I think one year ago we played so bloody bad under Mourinho that we didn't expect anything.

Agree, sometimes hard working players even get more cred than they deserve. But would still say young players like this are under the radar compared to players like Rashford for example.On the contrary, our fans love players who put in work. He just wasn't used the same way under Jose; right now he's turning in much more complete performances which our fans really like as well.

Crazy how much he's progressed. Physically he looks a lot bigger now and he's also more assertive and comfortable with the ball. Still had a good game back then but he's developed leaps and bounds.
Early half PoTS so far is between him and Rash. Then James.As long as nothing happens to any of them injury wise I think player of the season will be between him, Rashy or possibly James as an outside bet. Obviously also if they maintain or improve their current form
What stands out most for me with Scott are his leadership qualities on and off the field. His form has been great and I've seen a few interviews of his recently and there's definitely a potential future club captain there. The way he has developed into being one of the first names on our teamsheet week in, week out is outstanding.
How was he terrible today? Jesus Christ, it was an uninspired performance all round but I think McT got about well, won the ball and played some nice passes. Could’ve been better of course but like someone said above he looked half fit.
Worst players for me were Shaw and Maguire. Martial didn’t do much either. Not sure why Mata was even brought on.
I thought he was excellent apart from one awful pass in the 2nd half that got intercepted and required a super tackle from Wan-Bissaka to save us. Two great passes that set Dan James free, one in each half, and a bit unlucky with his through-ball to Rashford that Coleman defended well. Also won the free-kick close to edge of their box with a Cruyff turn. Several good moments defending dangerous crosses.

Can't believe those blaming him today. Do they expect him to come out flying like hell every game? I saw too important interventions in the 18 yard box from him, quite elegant. Everton came to play a defensive and midfield game, and he did his best under the circumstances. No help from a pointless Lingard to him and Fred for 60 mins, that was the problem folks.
