Sancho needs our support

What if Ten Hag told him he's dropped until he gets fit enough to play multiple games a week? Does that mean he's also in the dark ages?
You clearly have never experienced hardship in your life with this toxic man up attitude.

Sarcasm, obviously

The irony in here is those with the tough guy attitude with Sancho have likely never experienced any hardship or difficulties themselves.

Man up, get on with it, don’t be soft..

You’re living in the dark ages.

I hope to God you all don’t have any sort of management responsibilities in your line of work.

I don't agree with you all too often but that's spot on

At this point, if you’re well enough to be training daily and what not, then he really should be busting his arse to get back to playing.

It’s bordering on unacceptable now.

but but mental health and dark ages stuff?

Love it. I know we should be understanding and all, but here's the thing. About 97% of the working world still go to work even if they are having bad mental days, weeks or months.

Yep. Like I said earlier, I don't think he should face abuse, but the idea that we need to rally around a man who can afford to take time off work and still be paid handsomely/supported (with all the resources he might need) just because he kicks a ball for our entertainment is borderline bootlicker behaviour. He'll be fine, I'm sure his salary is support enough and keeps him warm at night.

This is true, but it’s something that really needs to change.

Not being funny but aren't you all just offering opinions on a situation you've imagined?

Ok boomer

You have absolutely no idea what's happening, but by all means, pop a vein getting angry about it.

I thought the rumors were he had some mental issues or similar? Which have spilled over to affect his fitness and form in a negative way. Hence why he is training alone, because he isn’t deemed up to par enough to train with the team.

Not angry about it. Just that a footballer that’s paid to play football should do just that.

Should we give him the rest of the year off then?

Is it so outrageous that some of us want him back to help the team?

If he is sick, you should obviously give him rest until he is well again.

He is not sick. The official line from the manager is he is not fit.

there’s a massive fecking difference and obviously we’ve been pushing him step by step to return to the squad.

go tell them mate. These days its all about keeping players happy, protected and with a smile on their face. Trophies is such a Manchester City/Real thing to do. I miss Ole. Yep he spent 400m+ on largely crap players on ridiculous fees. But jeez how many hugs those players needed.

Exactly. Made up and with no substance.

So in essence, you know nothing and still chose to behave like an ignorant asshole.

Most people's jobs aren't in the spotlight of millions trying to perform at an elite level physically.

True. In contrast when he was at Dortmund for years, only the likes of Freiherr, Herzog, and Graf watching them played.

my point exactly. It's as if football is about trophies and honours rather then that of protecting the vulnerable bird with a broken wing. We really need more safe spaces and I hope that the new owners will make that clear by giving a 5 year contract extension to Phil Jones.

Why even bother mate.

If asking when a footballer will be back after months out, is being an asshole, then there is nothing you can do to save these soft touches.

Exactly. Made up and with no substance.

So if it’s made up, then shouldn’t we be even more fecked off that he is out of shape and not available?

imagine being paid hundreds of thousands of pounds a week to not do your job.

It’s almost Phil jones all over again, except Phil might actually have an injury.

What "we" really need is less toxicity by wannabe tough guys like you :) I don't know if you know professional footballers personally but you don't get where they are if you are a "vulnerable bird". Sancho most likely has a much thicker skin than you could ever dream of.

You are comparing the NBA to WNBA right now. its a big step up

Over the top.

Haaland, Matip, Son, Gundogan, Aubameyang, Firmino, De Bruyne have all done pretty well.

There is a bit of a negative bias on here due to Miki and Kagawa.

He’s following a predetermined training plan put in place by the manager and his staff. How the feck is that unacceptable? :wenger:

Predetermined is putting it nicely. This is an emergency plan.

for his paycheck i would fly over the pitch..and he needs my support. really?!

Oh I am very tough indeed. Seriously mate, I hate it to break it to you but well run administrations wouldn't give a feck about what you think or how you feel. All they care about is what you contribute to them. If things continue that path I would be very surprised if Sancho survives another season at United.
