Samuel Eto'o

"Perez is spoiling all the fun." - Stephen Fry, twitters greatest tweeter.

Madrid have just bid for Eto'o.

Breaking news 5 Live.

he's already been there, bad experience.

eto'o is a good signing....won't be tempted by madrid, already played for barca so no la liga temptation there as well, serie a can be too racist and he's outspoken about that sort of stuff, city is well..shitty.....all roads point to united. :D

"Turn 180 degrees: Samuel Eto'o, Cameroonian FC Barcelona, now wants to play for Man Utd, while Mark Hughes, manager of Man City is willing to wait, but not for long.

Already six weeks while the saga Eto'o and the outcome is not soon provided that the Blaugrana have renewed his contract for another two years.Eto'o wanted at all costs to share the loot, or 12 for £ 25 million price agreed to by the Citizens."

Eto'o has bought a pad on Deansgate.

Heard it here, first.

Yeah, just heard that on 5 Live as well.

"In this moment, it is complicated to buy English property. But, English estate agent, Spoony's, they help me to buy house. I have good conditions to join Manchester." Eto'o.

This is worse than Benzema, can we drop this.

fecking hell, it didn't take long for the muppets to realize the cafe was operational again.

No, but they are all very central, offers no rotation upfront at all.
Say in Europe playing a 4-3-3, 4-5-1 whatever you like to call it, Rooney and another from the 3 would start, I am not too sure Eto or Berbatov or even both would be to happy sitting it out!

For me, what we have now is very balanced, had we not signed Owen then Eto would have been a better addition, add Wellbeck/Orbertan and we have a very adapt versatile frontline.

they are all very central cos they are all centre forwards. and sitting it out is part of being a modern footballer. people get too hung up on not signing players cos they wont want to sit on the bench. well almost every big club rotates and rests players. Tevez behaving like a spoiled child seems to have coloured peoples ideas regarding our squad, this notion that we are better off with players that expect to be out of the team. well no thanks. have quality and let them fight for it I say.

Just keep a sense of humour. Don't get so heated.

If it's on the BBC or manutd.com then its a done deal. Consider all else bollocks.

Fair play, but I think my suppressed muppet wants to explode, and I can't do that without hard evidence. Getting something hard is trying at times like this.

No point being sensible on this thread man - just back away from the keyboard & forget all about it

We've already bought Owen, I say save the money for a world class midfielder.

Good luck developing our up and coming talent in midfield, accommodating our current stars and bedding in a world class midfielder. I forgot World class players are easily attainable nowadays too;)

Your idea is fool proof.

Nothing too big at the moment. Just a Spanish news service reporting he has departed Barcelona for Manchester United. Probably nothing in it but it seems like a strange article to make up. I await SSN - and if it goes on the BBC news site then it's practically a done deal!

Is this for real or more Wumming?

Right, just got a text from a mate, who works at Ringway. Basically, he's been told that Eto'o is on a flight and heading for Manc Airport.

This one is for real.

Le Saga Du Eto'o

Twilight, so peaceful, encapsulating all the mountains of the distance. Away across the plains, you can smell the stench of corruption emanating from a city known as Madrid, riddled with flea-ridden whores. He walks slowly, through the dusk our hero doth, his shirt red and blue, awash with tears, of joy and sorrow and anticipation. Joy of a final victory, sorrow of the call of bitters and anticipation of meeting he who is known simply, even to players who no longer play under him. As the Gaffer.

Samuel walks slowly, kicking stones aside, his journey long and tiring, he has to travel far - to the green paradise known as carrington. Danger though is never far, 'what is this?' says the striker, the warrior lord! 'I can smell burning flesh.' He looks around, but he is ready for battle.

"Theeeeey....dooooooo......noooootttt......plaaaay.....yooooooooooooooooOU!" comes the cry from the nearby bell-tower. "What is this demon?!" Say's Eto'o as he pulls on his Total 90's ready to kick stones at his attacker. "I.....waaaaaarrsghhh dropppethed.....gaaargh!".

"Is that you Ribery?! You gargoyle?".....Silence..."Show yourself! Evil one!"....From high the figure dropped to the ground, rolling, then upon dusting his deformed and cloaked figure free of mud, he stood...or crouched it was hard to tell. The figure was short and the face was hidden, a mane of hair and a smell of rotten eggs and burning flesh was overwhelming. He walked with a limp and upon his back was a hump.

"It is you? Quasi-modo?!" Eto'o was anxious, even afraid...then the figure shown himself. "Tevez?!" Cried the startled hero.

"Yeeessrrghh...It is me.....Do not join those devils of Red! Evil, evil, bastarrrghhhss!" Spat the hideous creation.

Eto'o stepped back, in the distance he could see two figures atop Horses galloping to what he hoped was his aid. Tevez enchroached, when another deformed citizen dropped from the bell tower. "Bellamy?! Too!" Cried Eto'o, he was scared now.

Then they arrived, gleaming Silver, brandishing trophies of the premiership and personal awards. One, a short Ginger legend, atop a mighty white stallion, the other an old man, wise and strong of heart, who smelt of menthal. "Leave this place, gargoyles of evil - our weary friend here has a long journey - go! Back to the shadows!" And from under his hood, Scholes of Manchester, knight of bravery revealed his Ginger Locks and LO! The light doth shown upon the grotesqueness of Tevez and Bellamy, the Merrick Brothers and sent them back to the shadows.

Eto'o then sat astride his heroic saviours, and they journey'd long to Carrington, then to the theatre of dreams.

The rest, the bard said, is history.

He was personally phoned up by Gill to be told this I presume? Great work again Spoony, what would the muppets do without you?

Not have their cocks out?

but anyway, heading for Manchester? he could be signing for City. Who knows? But I think we'll find out by the end of this week or next. Or in a fortnight.
