Coddling a manchild claiming you should make concessions in a war when you've been bombed for almost a year and finally start to make meaningful progress is not great for morale either.Don't disagree with that reaction, I understand the negative reaction to Musk talking about concessions but if his technology was being provided for free and was, as the tweet says, a 'game changer' then telling him to feck off should be done with a bit of caution.
"The person who made that response" is Andriy Melnyk, Ukrainian ambassador to Germany, quite far on the right wing, behaving like that towards anyone in Germany since day one of this operation and the single individual with the highest responsibility for making Russian propaganda about "denazification" believable for parts of the German public. This isn't "incredible pressure", it's just Melnyk how he is all the time.Sure, it should have been done with more tact, but it's not a reason to make a giant shift in policy, if he really has been paying for part of the service. The person who made that response has been and continues to be under incredible pressure, I imagine.

That would explain a lot if he was...Oh, that guy.
Sure he isn't a Russian agent?
Kremlin is silencing extreme pro-war voices (Wagner affiliated, Igor Girkin, etc.) that have been critical of the way things are handled on the battlefield in public (e.g., Telegram channels) by threatening prison sentences.
Assuming it is true, what do you think it would mean? Why is it happening now?Mash is trash but it would be interesting if this leak would come out true.
They're reporting that it is following the complains from the army. I'd imagine that the conflict between the army official and "Z-patriots" becomes even more troublesome with those "voenkori" being the main source of information & opinion-makers for those who are actively supporting the war (so the reports on the federal television won't suffice).Assuming it is true, what do you think it would mean? Why is it happening now?

Yesterday was his last day as ambassador in Germany. That move was announced in July I think, so you are partially right.Isn't he a "former ambassador"? I think he was dismissed in July ... or am I wrong?
They simply never threw anything away…
They probably have one of those big metal dart board sights in front of the gunner. That should be more than enough to take a Mig 29 down.I'm assuming 1950s tech was shoot and pray? Like no locking on of any sort? What chance does that have against anything made in the last 40 years
It had been already obsolete against mig 15 I'd imagine . Its has been like a war museum but where you see the new stuff first. They probably have one of those big metal dart board sights in front of the gunner. That should be more than enough to take a Mig 29 down.

Hopefully the ability to overthrow and execute the Head of State. What has Russia got from WWI?

I'll take "weapons used in the boxer rebellion and the Russian ukrainean war" for 500, Alex.

He seems the type who would rather get killed than captured though, very ideological. Most valuable PoW?
He isn't part of the Russian power structure and they would likely be happy to get rid of him. Sure would be interesting to capture him, but I don't think it would have a big impact except some Telegram outrage by his followers. Most valuable PoW?
I’m no military expert, but I guess it would be useful as artillery (if not air defence). Even in the 19th century they had some shit that would do enough damage in any age over longer distances.
I don't think they would be effective when used for indirect fire but a lot of AA guns loaded with armor piercing rounds can be pretty effective against armored vehicles.I’m no military expert, but I guess it would be useful as artillery (if not air defence).
