Toby Flood had a monumentally shit game. Overall lack of aggression from the team and stupid handling mistakes cost big time. Hope this teaches them a lesson.

France deserved it in the end. We have to get our own house in order, far too many average/shit performances in one game and it wasn't good enough against a French side who weren't particularly brilliant. The backs wilted at the first sign of pressure and we couldn't hold onto the ball to save our lives.
relatively easy..right footed kicker, it wasn't from the touchline. The French kicker(Parra) had the same kick at the death, and despite being a lefty nearly got it to come back.
Fair play to Wales. They beat us well. I thought Wales would win, but I thought it would be closer.

Ireland were only slight favourites. England were major favourites, but if France showed up at all, they were always going to beat England. Nobody expected them to turn up though

I'm delighted to see how they've learned from the national football team on how to prepare totally wrong for a tournament, underwhelm against weak opposition in the group stages and then crash out as soon as they come up against anybody half decent.
Now lets see if we can do something about that annoyingly successful cricket team.

The Australian back line had an absolute shocker. Poor decision making including not bothering to take a drop goal with a minute left within range was absolutely stupid.

South Africa should be in the semi's today. We absolutely dominated the game in every facet but did not convert our domination into points which is unlike a bok team. Forward passes, knock-on's at crucial moments. I don't know why we didn't go for the drop option more often. It really is weird, we lost and yet I can't recall when last we've outplayed Australia like that. Oh well.

Impressive defense from Australia against South Africa, really amazing. To make that many more tackles and to concede that much possession and territority and yet still win? Incredible.
They'll probably be forced to do the same against New Zealand as they will probably dominate just as much, if not more.

The English love an inquiry. Whenever they lose in a tournament, they get a committee together to see why they lost and see whose fault it was so they can be fired. Or blamed in the media. Lose in the World Cup? Let's get a group together to find out why. Lose in Rugby? Do the same. Meanwhile, they refuse to make any concrete changes in terms of football. It's ridiculous.
