Rugby world cup

Don't mind England. Just on there way to another World Cup final, which they'll probably win as New Zealand are gonna choke, though that won't be as funny now they can use injuries to their two key players as their excuse despite the fact that still leaves as the best team by a mile*.

*=With the exception of the Carter injury obviously....the opposite to all this is probably what will happen starting with England losing to France, which is just destined to happen.

Nobody hacked my account, I have already explained why I typed that. (Somebody laughed, for no apparent reason, at a perfectly reasonable statement) His question was 'why was it warranted'. The spastic sentence was after the fact. feck me you really are a boring fecker.

Its turning out to be a great world cup.

I think the only team virtually assured of a place in the semi finals would be NZ who should beat Argentina. All the other games are too close to call and all three of them could go either way.

Then the potential semi finals are all also too close to call.

glad that Ireland didn't feck it up against Italy. all their hard work against the Aussies has now paid off so now it's all in their own hands. tis a great position to be in and I doubt that many Irish thought we'd win the group, especially considering our form in the run up to the WC.

Wait, it's assumed Australia will beat the Springboks? If anything, South Africa has been playing better than Australia in this RWC and could very well beat Australia.

That was part of it, but also the way he nonchalantly wrote off England's chances and stated that Ireland and Wales were the better teams, and then called someone who didn't agree with that a spastic.

I personally don't think it is as clear cut as that. England are the current Six Nations champions, and they are young and full of potential, and improving everyday. Not to mention that they have reached the last two finals while Ireland has never even reached the semis and Wales have only once.

# 2 all but 3 of Irelands starting XV are Heineken cup winners, most of them double Heineken cup winners. (the only who aren't are Bowe, Best, Ross)

# 3 Ireland have 2 former lions captains in O'Connell and O'Driscoll.

The indicators from an Irish perspective is that our players are hardened to knockout rugby and have the experience to make a final here.

On the other hand we could feck up and lose to an inferior side in Wales or an equivalent standard side in France or England.
 
France huge at 7/4 to beat England. Both as bad as each other but if the French always have a big game in them and if they turn up on the day, they will win.

You are basing this year on what? History? History means feck all when it comes to the current competition. England have been stuttering along whilst both Wales and Ireland have had excellent results in the groups. How you think it is a foregone conclusion that England will get to the final is unreal. Do you not know anything about rugby? England haven't exactly got a great record against Ireland in recent years. Ireland are in far better form. Wales are in even better form. Whoever wins the Ireland v Wales match will be a big favourite for the semis. And the fact that you think that you will also just walk through the French shows how ignorant and arrogant you are. France will be up for it.

Hang on what the hell? The only one writing off any team is your buddy 101 who was writing off Ireland and he didn't just disagree he laughed at a normal balanced opinion.

He goes on to use the word 'No' as his only argument when yet another person disagrees. He then claims that England will be favorites which is clearly waffle and they will simply cruise past Ireland not to mention France. All I said was I'm more worried about Wales and why the feck is that unreasonable exactly? They still have to beat France never mind the fact that Wales are the form team in the comp along with us and maybe NZ/SA.

England are the reigning Six Nations champions don't forget, though Ireland do appear to have the indian sign on them in individual match-ups. Wales have come 4th in each of the last three Six Nations, and despite their strong pool performance I'd have them a touch below the other three on this side of the draw.
