He’s kicking them from the halfway line, hardly sacrificing 7 points for that

I'm legit just giving you a key reason why they aren't more drop goals. England are down to 14 players... he's never doing that one in particular with 15, the other 2 potentially, but only if you think they play as totally broken down... see the Argentina drop goal attempt.

Because essentially you are sacrificing 7pts for 3... England have been in 4 attacking positions for them, but yet are still only 1 attacking Argentina position and a penalty away from losing.
Yeah I understand that but surely trying 3 or 4 drop goals might loosen the opposition defense and force them to commit more players to stopping the drop goal which opens more opportunities out wide for tries?

The red being slated heavily.

Was clearly the wrong decision I feel

To be fair someone somewhere on twitter explained it bang on.

It's a yellow because of the tackle mid-air. Should of just wait.
Upgraded because it's head, however brutally harsh and hypocritical in some instances, this is a straight line.

Curry very likely knew the second he saw the yellow, so early on, he should of just left him to land for a second or 2 then tackled.

Ford has covered up the fact that our attacking play has been awful. Which, to be fair, it has been for a few years.

Chopping and changing 9s
Chopping and changing 10s
No 12 coming through to replace Tuilagi

No. It's a low success rate action, the most likely outcome is losing possession, it doesn't affect defenses.

Head doesn’t automatically mean red though? Hence the Argentina yellow.

Curry stood his ground and the player actually came down on to him. Yellow for me. Even more so when you look at the second decision.

His one leg had landed hadn’t it?

Regardless of the score, England has been the better team even with a player less. Argentina has hardly run the ball and their backs look completely tame against their English counterparts.

Head to head from a yellow offence tackle does though I think. Argentina while more malicious - was only the butt to the upper body, not head. It's down to pure bad luck Curry is off, but like I said, it seems like he almost certainly knew the second it was a yellow.

Why are you not taking the full 25 seconds though?

Argentina have improved so much is recent years, won away at SA, NZ, Aus and in England. Must be driving Chieka mad that they’ve got to the biggest stage and completely soiled themselves

Yeah, and that's what World Rugby want. Arguably it's way better for Curry than wait he did anyway, holding back then smash him backwards when he lands. Makes sense for duty of care and for gaining a defensive advantage.

We are killing them with papercuts.

That's why I thought it would be upgraded.

All three analysts on Irish TV went for agreeing it's a red. Zebo, Ferris, and Heaslip. Didn't have time to review the other incidents unfortunately.

they know a weakened england, with a game full of dodgy rules, is the only hope they have at beating us, should we meet in the latter rounds.

Nigel Owens would have said that this touch was less straight than he is.

is it possible that northern hemisphere rugby has not just surpassed the southern but by quite a bit in the last 4 years, NZ look average (compared to what they were) Aussies are bang average, Argentina look useless right now, South Africa have to be good don’t they cue Scotland beating them tomorrow.

I might start fancying England if they get to 18-3.... maybe. Best they've played in donkeys though, I know everyones putting it all on Argentina being shite, but England have showed up here after the red.

I don't think so. I think Argentina are just absolutely awful tonight.

Oh absolutely. Argentina being bad wouldn't matter if England weren't taking their chances.

England are disciplined(in spite of the red) and that's to their credit. But both teams are struggling when they have to use the ball.

Eh?

Ireland beat england in the 6 Nations 29-16 in March and 29-10 about 3 weeks ago?
