World Rugby's appeal against Owen Farrell's rescinded red card will be heard on Tuesday. No Aussies will be on the panel, instead the panel members are: Nigel Hampton KC (chair, New Zealand), joined by Shao-ing Wang (Singapore) and Donal Courtney (Ireland). Nobody overexposed to rugby league will be on the panel.

Now watch him take someone’s head off this afternoon.

It always seems to clash far more than probability says it should. Six nations are a nightmare every year as United seem to always have a 3 or 5.30pm kick off on a Saturday, somehow even when we were in the Europa.
It’s daft as feck, you’d think rugby would get its act together.

Me and a welsh buddy were talking about heading to the pub last week to watch the match….but it clashed with the 5:30 premier league so I had to ‘shop around’ for a pub that’d be showing it. You’d think theyd Have the gumption to avoid clashing with football

@Pogue Mahone @Xaviesta you feckers leave our Faz alone

Ironically, one player Faz would be benefitted by watching us Sexton. Both of them like the more upright tackle, where you absorb the opponents force standing. Maybe it works better for fly halves that it doesn’t take you out the game for as long as a regular legs tackle where you end up at the bottom of a ruck. Sexton does it better though as he doesn’t seem to ever get pinged for high shots

It has to be something he does without thinking. There’s no way he would have knowingly risking a red card that would keep him out of the WC.So will be hard to coach out of him.

Wales vs South Africa is about to start. Warren Gatland's first taste of test rugby against the Boks since that very ugly Lions series in 2021. Wales have a good recent record against the Boks in Cardiff but they have a very inexperienced backline.

Andrew Brace grew up in Wales. There's the conspiracy for a percentage of Boks supporters should Wales win. Nigel Owens might have been in the Boks' camp had South Africa's timing been a little better.

Malcolm Marx has scored his 16th test try. Started from a maul, they then went wide and came back to the side of the field the maul started from to score a try in the corner.

Growing up in Wales seems to make most people hate the place

Well done to the ref for calling advantage over after the Boks made about 40 yards while under penalty advantage.

Libbok has missed a conversion and a penalty. The penalty was much easier than the conversion.

This is a case of the law is an ass. Surely you should be allowed to knock the ball away from an opponent to stop a try. Canan Moodie ran past the ball and made no contact with it.

Bang goes the Brace bias argument. Also bang goes Wales chances in this match

Anytime the Boks have put pressure on Wales, the men in red have looked in trouble.
Just to give you an idea about Wales, my lads team played a touring team from wales last season, U14’s. We hammered them, and it became apparent from conversations on the touch line that the vast majority of them had been on the piss the night before. Not the parents, the kids

Yes it’s Wales but South Africa’s handling and decision making has been seriously impressive. Hard to look beyond them if they hit these levels at the World Cup.

South Africa might need Owen Farrell's lawyer if Willemse's yellow is upgraded to a red.

It's not great. Not finding touch and not giving chasers any chance at all.
Don’t want to be this guy, and I try to avoid it, but the decisions are poor today. Not complaining of bias, I think the crap calls are going both ways. And he’s fecked the scrum up badly

Really enjoyed 4 Connacht players being on the pitch towards the end with a great chance of all 4 going to the world cup.
I did not enjoy it. In fact, I did not enjoy much today. Fortunately I spent more time gardening than watching sport

Hopefully England don't have any more warm up games because they are going yo lose another player for a poor tackle.

Just seen the Vunipola red and I'm surprised that the ref didn't give him a red card on the field. The whole England team might as well attend tackle school.

I think the risk with this new Bunker Review is exactly refs not giving reds straight away.
It abdicates responsibility to the TMO.
Makes it look a bit silly when you see Vunipola's yesterday.
There should have been no question.
