Rugby League Super League

We never looked like winning tonight.

Not sure their first try was legit, and their other two were absaloutely shocking.

did you lose? haven't seen the other results yet

Aye 8-22 :(

It was 8-10 with 10 minutes left, and I thought we could have gotten a try, but then we kinda fecked up and they got another try, then we fecked up even more and they scored another.

There was a pretty good fight though during second half.

How did scousers go on?

Can I just express that I really don't like Wigan's new shirt, I'm wearing it now and I just wish I was wearing our old JJB one, instead of fecking Mecca bingo.

Why didn't we chose warburtons :(

you know as well as i do they're not scousers :nono:

It's all Merseyside :smirk:

I don't like the new Wigan shirt either, Mecca Bingo was never going to look good on the front of any shirt. Dig the old one out? Though wearing JJB might not be something you'd enjoy.

Never mind, Wigan aren't much better at the moment

not quite sure what scoue twats are?

For fecks sake, I was going to edit that, but then it wouldnt load the editing page so I left it and hoped you didnt pick up :(

So the past weekend saw us knock the 'mighty' Leeds out of the cup in the 4th round. And also saw a lucky Wigan outfit scrape past lower league opposition.

This week see's what used to be one of the biggest derbys in Rugby League, Saints v Wigan - that was until Wigan went shit and now its just another game.

Will be good to maybe give a few of our youngsters a run out against a lesser super League team and then we'll hopefully have a good squad to choose from for the short turn around against Hull.

Oh also this week Wigan signed a pretty average centre in Martin Gleeson, a player who has only looked decent on odd occasions since leaving the Saints a few years ago. Surprisingly Warrington have taken Richie Mathers in exchange which begs the question -are Warrington a club run by idiots?? I'd have wanted Saints to be paid to take Mathers off Wigans hands.

Anyway come on you Saints!!!

are you going, jg?

Hopefully normal service will be resumed on Friday against the inbreds from Bradford.

Leaves us clear at the top - lots of good teams about this year, apart from Warrington and celtic...oh Wigan too. So lots of twists and turns to go

:D

I should have looked at this thread earlier, I'm about a 15 minute drive from the JJB stadium just now, coulda given you a shout and got a drink. Make it a date maybe? ;)

Good to see The Robins beat the black and white shite. Nice to see a big crowd as well. Probably going to be one of the biggest of the season.

Did you go?

Jesus wept, worst I've felt after leaving a game so far this season. They were trying and getting nowhere which in some ways seems worse than them not trying and getting nowhere. Much improvement needed before Monday.
Thought King had a good game though, apart from that one miscommunication between him and Hicks.
