I don't want to lend creedence to these kinds of accounts because I feel like 99% of them are absolute frauds wasting everyones time. Even if they get somethings wrong though the Muppetiers account has access to somebody at the club, not saying that's an important somebody but they have called some things correctly, they called the announcement of ETH just before it happened and gave an exact time as well, about 5/10 minutes before some of the mainstream journalists jumped on it and was subsequently announced. They've also stuck their neck out on a few things that may seem wrong, but then way down the line mainstream journalists, reliable ones, have said this to have been the case at one point.

I believe mainstream reporters have said he is involved but doesn't want to be disturbed a few days before a game no?

Sooner that bloody Ajax season is over then maybe we finally get some concrete info on his targets and not constant speculation

Yeah I am on their discord and whilst it’s entertaining to pass some time in between rumours I don’t think they have a single genuine inside source on the “mupdates” it all based on current media reports and adding their own flavour to it.

I don’t think ETH is working on anything United related what so ever, perhaps scanned a couple of emails over dinner but nothing as involved as picking transfer targets or working with the current squad, I think he’ll pick it all up a couple of weeks after Ajax finish their season and I mean whichever game is their last.

he’s almost certainly not dove tailing the two jobs.

Don’t worry! Soon we all know what goes on in training, how he failed to address the obvious and being found out by the English league..

I know it's unfair to judge players vs a team like City -

That Sun article is pure fiction, claiming we made a £35 million bid in january, we never made any such bid.
 
Neves and De Jong is not a good fit imo. We desp need two midfielders and one of those should be a workhorse of a DM. Its not a bad strategy to leak out news about us going for Neves to lower the price for De Jong though, and thats probably what is happening here.
 
Neves is more suited to a counter attacking team that sits deep. I'd be worried about his mobility in a higher line system, he moves like Maguire. Neves would have been more suited to Ole's team.
 
I’d be very happy if we signed him and someone else. Him as our only midfield signing and we’re in trouble. He would be a good squad player.
 
Maybe ETH sees him as Lasse Schöne, so could play a similar role. Still an upgrade on our current options
 
If ETH has given the green light, yes I am in always rated I’m tbh.
 
Am I right? Four goals (one of which was against us!) and two assists in 33 games for Wolves last season? He got more yellow cards! It's a "no" from me"
