Who is that Quenda player (#57 for Sporting)? Looks pretty tasty.

Shame he'll have exactly one full-back available to him considering they're essential to his system. It'll be a rocky start but I think he's an exciting long-term choice.
Get your bets in that Antony will revive his career as a LWB.

Manchester United have presented a three-year contract to Ruben Amorim, with a salary of €7/8m per year

I think in terms of today's market for PL managers and for Manchester United that this is not at all unreasonable.

I have gone through this new manager hope cycle so many times in last decade that I am zero excited this time. Hope he does well and help the team back to where it should be as Manchester United.

Comedy deflection. He's already been visited by the curse. It's over.

I keep seeing this but is it a shout?

I can’t see him being great defensively (aerially especially) and don’t sense he has a great cross from deep positions.

Would love to be proven wrong though.

I don't think 343 suits your current players and the teams needs. It'll be tough, but the next couple of seasons should prioritize developing your young players. Especially the 2 strikers as you've spent alot of money on them.

352 would be better

Onana
De Ligt Maguire Martinez
Dalot Bruno Casemiro Ugarte Mazouri
Rashford Houijlund

You'd rotate the strikers often and Mainoo with Ugarte. Obviously need a proper LWB like Davies or Ait Nouri. The only player this system wouldn't benefit really is Amad, who I rate

I think as a makeshift one he would be ok - I don’t think he’s dynamic enough to be great but the role is much more offensive and he’s got great cardio/work rate and a good left foot. The reality is we really need the balance of an overlapped there which we won’t have until Shaw comes back (and even then he’ll just get injured a few games later).
