Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

Feels like he did a ton of homework on the squad before he started. He looks well prepared already.

As a soured fan from so many false dawns, am now waiting for Arsenal on Weds with at least some hope.

Need to sort out that wobbly defense. But boy this was really enjoyable. Well done!

He's come in with a plan, and the plan is definitely working, even if there will be bumps along the road. You just sense that he's a super quick learner and already has an understanding of this squad.

This team looked devoid of goals under Ten Hag. Under Amorim we are a very different beast.

It's been a long time since we have had a game where we looked comfortable. Even wins under ETH were hard work.

I love how quick he's made us on the break in only a short period of time.

Thats what EtH claimed he was aiming for yet couldn't implement it with over 2 years in charge.

Resfreshing to see a clear game plan and system. We surely will have some setbacks and our game is far from perfect but for the first time in a long while one can be excited for the future.

Completely showing up ETH as a fraud. Love it.

We will have a few bumps on the road, but cant wait to see once we buy a couple of players and have some time in the summer to train. Next season could be tasty

We didn’t win 4 - 0 once in the Prem under ten Hag. It’s taken just two PL games under Amorim.

The tactics that saw us struggling to break even?

Hes gone, can we not keep bringing him up please?
There are some diehard ETH fans amongst the Dutch users on this site. They probably will never get over his sacking and seem to like him more than the club.

The more I see of him, the more I grow to dislike Ten Hag and what he did to the standards at this club.

Trying to suppress the chub I’m brewing down below.

This is the guy we’ve been waiting for isn’t it? Isn’t it?

He is working of actual team play for scoring goals and not relying on individual brilliance for winning games

Big test will be Wednesday night. Can we compete against the strongest in the league?

Already equaled EtH's best PL result in just three games. The one!

The plan is there for all to see. It's not some complicated mystery that differs from what we see on the pitch. Hopefully it can only gets better as time goes.

Get out “The Chosen One” banner at OT. Undefeated in 7 straight games. When did that last happen?

like how he adapts. I was expecting him to instruct Zirkzee to run through the wide channels the way Gyokeres and Hojlund did but he played sort of a false 9 role that suits him more

Have always believed we have some good players, they were just set up to fail abysmally under Ten Hag again and again. Good to have a better manager in.

So refreshing to see players happy and smiling after the game, been far too long since we could make subs and rest players into the next game. Even Bruno came off!

Amad man of the match with Zirkzee and Onana right behind. Delighted for Rashford, especially on that first goal, good decision to just control that between the post instead of firing it up to the stand, even though he still makes som dodgy decisions later in the game.

Also getting Shaw back on that left side was refreshing!

It wasn't his fault the club stuck with him for as long as they did. He was arrogant and stubborn, but the club should have acted after the FA Cup final.

They just have to have Odegaard back whilst we're missing two key players due to poxy yellow's. It'll certainly be a struggle, but hopefully Ruben has a solid plan.

My confidence in him grows every week.

  1. We already have an identity. You can see the areas where he needs a better fit but there’s clarity as to what we are trying to do
  2. He clearly knows talent. None of the head scratching selections (or exclusions) from under the last manager
  3. Two above gives me confidence with new signings. We should hopefully get quality players going forward and get stronger

Just enjoy it man, we’ve moved on a manager clearly out of his depth and got one that was an upgrade. If it doesn’t work out then it doesn’t work out but these aren’t bad players, Ten Hag just convinced us all they were useless and he needed 5 years to fix it. We watch to see our team win, don’t worry about what might happen.

I’m not used to such score in league games. 4:0!
ETH created a legacy but in the wrong way.

Agreed. And as a fanbase we should also learn a lesson on what we tolerate and excuse under the guise of trying not to be like other teams.

It was crazy how many people were telling us to simply not believe our eyes.
