Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

Would appreciate a poll to see how many expect United to compete for the title under Amorim's tenure.
It would also seem that many think he will look to implement a system with 3 at the back, or that it is his preference at least. But I think it is just as likely that it is simply what he decided works best with his resources at the time. With him being appointed "head coach", it also seems likely Ineos wants to steer the sporting direction and be more influential on transfers, so while Amorim will get to have his say, Ineos can still task him to operate with a 433 in mind for the long term.
Basically Amorim's first presser could be quite interesting if he opens-up on the plan going forward.

Maxi Araújo playing well. Every team should have an obligatory Uruguay player. Garra charrua.

Fecking Gyokeres. Stop scoring. City taking our DoF, United getting our manager, I dread to think about January.

to dampen some enthusiasm, i’ve just come back from a week in portugal and i was credited with 2 goals in liga portugal just for getting off the plane.

Better take him or someone else will.
Just don’t look at any other strikers from that league ok?

Worst game this season, Sporting of Portugal defense was terrible and the attack was only worth it because of Gyo.
Very worried for the next game.

My expectations are really low too. Amorim has had 2-3 good years in Sporting in a smaller league - and that is it. I am not sure a manager with this background is the right answer for us.
It's not even based on Amorim for me. Just don't trust United as a club until someone actually delivers something significant. We've had 5 permanent managers since Fergie and spent hundreds of millions and only managed 4 domestic cups, one Europa League and couple of 2nd and 3rd place finishes. Maybe I'm just too negative but never liked those 'United are back' moments and narratives that were around at times (Rio Ferdinand after PSG, etc.). We look like fools in the end every time. Do get fans are fickle and it's in nature of being a football fan though.

He’s destined to join a big prem team. Hoping we’ll have the advantage now since we’ll have Amorim. You should be pleased though that teams are after your players/managers. Means their really good

Hope whoever Amorim plays on the flanks will contribute a lot to goals and assist.

Amorim press conference coming up. Guess I'll be the translator

Nani saying United is one of the biggest clubs in the world and wishing Amorim the best at United. Good man.
